I left AA a few weeks ago. Look on any MMO news site and you will see why, it is run by the single most incompetent publisher I have ever seen. They are now blatentley cash grabbing for anything they can and it wouldn't surprise me if AA doesn't start merging servers within the next month or two as so many people have become disillusioned with it.
The worst part of it is that it has oh so much potential to be simply amazing and Trion Worlds seem intent on wasting it. >:(
I played Archeage for about... 3 days on the Tahyang server or whatever it was called. Loved the idea behind the game, especially the fact that I was able to pretty much create my Skyrim character on it(stealth, magic, and dual wielding big swords), but decided to leave and let XL Games release updates and the game to level out..
Was going to download it a few nights ago, but a quick check on the forums turned me away, issues they had at release are still there, and one of the threads was people putting how much money they had spent on the game before quitting due to Trion Worlds(I have decided it is their fault, after seeing what Rift is turning into).. I think one person spent around $1,500 before quitting.
Back to swtor for me, want to get a mercenary to lvl55 before I resub and get into that new expansion.
I played it a bit but like others it's too much money. I absolutely love the concept and I hope more games like it are made. I'll stick with World of Warcraft for now.
