Title: Hair dressers tomorrow (desperate)
Post by: ★ Sophia ★ on October 21, 2014, 02:15:10 PM
Hello,

I'm having my hair done tomorrow, my hair is almost down to my bottom neck and needs a feminine style. As it's getting curly at the bottom and it needs to grow.

Please post picture suggestions or reply if you can. Thanks

xxSophia

My advice? Let it grow. You can trim it yourself to rid yourself of split ends or to even it up but if you go to the stylist make sure that you let them know you want all the length that you can keep. A bob is pretty feminine. But it depends on if you still present as a guy.

Some think I should go for a bob, but im not 100%.

Well that all depends. If you still have to be a guy sometimes or not. The texture of your hair and so on. Hopefully you have a good stylist. Maybe they can make a suggestion. I like the way bangs look but my hair type just don't work with them. The longer my hair is, the better it looks. Straight hair really long don't look as good as shoulder length or little longer. But that is just my opinion though.

When you first grow hair long it often tends to grow at an outward angle which can be pretty difficult to style in an agreeable manner. After it has been long for a few months it will start to grow at a lower angle and hang such that you can style it normally. Most people find it best to just smooth it or bind it as best as they can while growing it out. I've used styling products as well as headbands, barrettes and even caps.

I had it done!

Trimmed, partly my choice. Growing it out takes a lot of time.

Thanks for your suggestions, they really helped  ;)

Yeah it seems to take forever. But roughly hair grows at half an inch per month. When it is curly it takes longer to get overall length but still half an inch per month but goes around instead of down.
