If there was no difference in the realism would you prefer an intact/uncut packer or a circumcised/cut packer? Thought this would be a good question to ask. Feel free to comment and add more info on why you prefer one over the other...or why it's a non issue.
If there was a uncut packer comparable to the peecock then I'd be on that in a second. Unfortunately there isn't, so I'll have to stick with my cut peecock.
Being a British atheist, from an atheist/Christian background where there isn't a culture of circumcision it would be very unlikely that I would have been circumcised in the first place, and obviously I want things to be as right as they can be. I don't agree with circumcision in general anyway.
Interesting results so far.
Further down the line my feelings may change but for now my opinion is a dick is a dick and if it does what I want then I don't care if it it circumcised or not. I don't know whether id have been circumcised and I've never much cared to know.
I'm an American, so circumcision is always fairly commonplace to me. Given that my dad was circumcized as an adult (ouch!!) in order to marry my Moslem mother, I'd probably be cut if I'd been male at birth. My family has pretty much no opinion at this point in their lives, though, and I find I'm the same.
So yeah, slight visual preference for a cut packer as a cultural familiarity thing, but I've certainly got no objection to an uncircumcized dick, and I wouldn't balk at a nice, uncut packer at all. Chalk me down for camp "it's not that important."
If I had the choice of my genitals, I would prefer to have an uncut penis. Sadly, I think I would have been circumcised since my brother was circumcised. When it comes to packers, ideally I would want an uncut packer. I can't really afford one so I just use my cut Mr. Limpy, but I think it is cute.
I'd probably have been cut, too, if I had been AMAB, but I currently have an uncut dick, and like it, so would like to imagine I'd be uncut if I had a regularly sized penis.
I love the Sinthetics uncut packer. It's big (5") and thick, with decent balls. At first I thought it was too big, but I'm kind of liking the fact that I do have a bulge in my pants (probably more noticeable to me than anyone else, LOL). I like the texture, it warms up nicely, doesn't get gummy, feels like skin when warmed, doesn't need frequent powdering. Now, if they made an STP option with a realistic pee slit, I'd be in heaven, because peeing through the fly while packing is rather difficult with a 1" dick, LOL.
The other thing I like about it is that it is totally realistic looking in color (I got the Chai) and I could stand at a urinal with it whipped out and it wouldn't get a second glance, it looks totally real, with a skin texture and blue-ish veins (unlike another prosthetic that I got where the blue veins looked more green in real life than in the pics on the web site).
It was pricey, but worth every penny (to me) for the texture alone. Other than the Mr. Limpy, all others I've had have been too rubbery and fake-feeling.

French and 100% uncut for me !!
Had I been born as a normal, so to speak, cis-male (I'm wording this strangely due to unique circumstances at birth) I would have been circumcised. That said...personally, I prefer the aesthetics of an intact dick.
Whether a packer/STP/prosthetic is styled after an intact or circumcised model isn't a deal-breaker for me though, I've been quite happy with the Sailor and RM basic that I've had and not "in spite of" their being "circumcised," but given the choice between two of equal quality I would have a definite preference for the "intact" option.
I'd really prefer a circumcised penis. My dad and brother are both circumcised (as well as both my nephews, if we wanna get that into it), so I know I would have been circumcised too. Although, my dad is pretty adamant against it now.
And as for aesthetics, I personally like the look of a cut penis better than an uncut one. That being said, I have no issue against in tact penises, I just would rather my own be cut.
I'm not sure if I have a preference when it comes to cut or uncut.. And if I did, it's near the bottom of my "list of things I look for in a packer". :P
From most important to least important, that list probably looks like:
1)Material
I want a packer that doesn't tear easily and will last me awhile. I want it to be relatively easy to wash. And I don't want it to be "sticky"
2)Firmness
I don't want something that's so hard that it looks like I have an erection all the time! But I also don't want a packer that is really "smushy". I want a happy middle.
3)Size
Most packers would be awkwardly large on me (and most guys, I'm sure). I need something that looks realistic -- I don't want people to look at me and be able to tell I'm stuffing my pants.
4)Balls!
I'd settle for a "flat back" if I had to, but I would much prefer something with 3D balls. And I would love if they moved like a "real" set of balls. :P
5)Paint job and detail
Like with the balls, I could settle for a mono-colored packer, but I really want something "realistic".
6)Price
I don't want to have to dish out a bunch of money for a packer, but I'd rather have a good, expensive packer than a cheap, crappy packer.
7)Cut vs. Uncut
Like I said, near the bottom of my list. :P I may have a slight preference for cut (which is good because I know there are very few that aren't), but that's only because I feel it'd be easier to keep clean.
8 )STP
Sure, it'd be nice to be able to pee standing up. But it's never been a big deal for me.
9)Pack 'n' Play
I'd like to be able to just "whip it out" as much as the next guy, but I'm not too concerned about this. It'd be a little awkward, but a dildo would do the job just fine.
I'd prefer uncut, if I had the option. Personally, despite the fact that I know I'd have been cut had I been born with that part (I had a conversation about circumcision with my mother not to long ago), I find the practice abhorrent.
I pretty much figure due to my mom being Jewish, if I were a cis guy I would have been circumcised. That said, I got a Pierre packer in Philly. Very much like it.

It wasn't until I was an adult that I knew uncut existed. There wasn't even cut in my mind, it was just a penis.
I've only been with guys who were cut and the only intact one I've ever seen, paid the guy to show it to me. So, I never even thought about it before now. That being said, I think it's important to have both options.
I just realized (like at this very moment), that I have no idea if my father was circumcised or not. Is that weird? I just made the assumption he was. Do people ask their fathers if they were circumcised? Anyway, he is deceased and I have no plans to ask my mom (mainly because I don't want to hear about my father's penis!)
So, I was curious about rates of circumcision in the U.S. and other countries. Below is a quote about the U.S. I linked the source below the quote:
The incidence of male non-therapeutic infant circumcision varies widely by region. The Western Region reported an incidence of 24.6% in 2009, while the North Central Region reported an incidence of 76.2%, while the overall incidence of circumcision in the United States stood at 54.5%, the lowest figure reported over the previous two decades.[41] The Northeast Region reported an incidence of 67% and the Southern Region reported 55.7%.[41]
There was also significant variation between rural and urban areas. Rural areas reported an incidence of circumcision of 66.9% while urban areas reported an incidence of 41.2%.[41]
There are various explanations for why the infant circumcision rate in the United States is different from comparable countries. Many parents' decisions about circumcision are preconceived, and this may contribute to the high rate of elective circumcision.[42] Brown & Brown (1987) reported the most important factor is whether the father is circumcised.[43]
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prevalence_of_circumcision#United_States
Circumcision is clearly dropping in the U.S. A study of 1999-2002 infants circumcised at birth was 79%, while now it is in the 40's% across the U.S. (infants at birth). In the 1970's it was at something like 91% when looking at the U.S. as a whole. In 18 states Medicaid stopped paying for infant circumcision somewhere along the way, so that is probably one of the reasons for the decrease in the U.S.
I read in another article that the drop in circumcision in Britain occurred after World War ll after they moved to nationalized health care. After some studies were done and it was determined that it did not impact one's health, it was cheaper to drop the procedure. Since the health care system stopped paying for it, parents stopped doing it. It is interesting how the assumption (for me anyway), was that culture (and changes in culture), determined the lower incidence of circumcision, rather than economics. But, everything comes back to economics, right? (I am aware that circumcision is related to culture in some populations, just saying less than I thought).
Interesting stuff.
In terms of the poll, I have always preferred the look of a cut packer. I did buy the stylishflesh uncut Endy, however (for something different), and I like the look of that. However, if I was going to pay high dollar for a prosthetic (lets say a RM), I would go with cut (even if uncut was available). One reason is that I prefer the look, but more importantly I think it would be harder to make a uncut packer look as realistic as a cut one. Realism is more important to me when I am putting out more money.
Thank you for the research, Brett. Interesting... And Brett, I didn't feel like to ask my dad either. I would feel embarressed in front of him.
As for me I just like having options. It is not that I don't want to buy the one over the other, but I prefer uncut. But if the cut version is more realistic to me, I will buy it and cherish it haha.

Hahaha, I wouldn't ask my Dad about that either. I just know mine was uncircumsized because when I was still really young, he was comfortable enough to leave the bathroom door open when he'd use the toilet or shower, so I saw him nude a few times.
Didn't stay that way for long, though. :P One day I decided to draw my Mom a picture of a penis after having seen my Dad in the bathroom, and I proudly went up to her with my "art" and said
"Mommy, look! I know what a penis looks like! It looks kinda like an elephant nose!". She freaked out and told me to "never draw that again!", and I guess notified my Dad about it too, because after that, he always had the bathroom door closed and locked. :icon_lol:
Instead of asking your dad if he is or isn't or asking your mom about your dad...why not ask your parents about yourself?
Mom, dad...if I were "born a boy" would I've been circumcised?
Now there's ANOTHER question I didn't ask my parents. But I'm pretty sure I did see my father once. I think it is generational and my generation I am pretty sure I would have been, and I'm also Jewish (or at least my mom's side is, which is what matters in this stuff).

I know this topic isn't for me, but seeing the results I just felt the need to comment!
Most girls I've known prefer a guy that's been cut. I've also known girls who joke about guys who are uncut. So to see so many preferences towards uncut really surprises me. I certainly don't remember life uncut, but aesthetically I think cut just looks better. I've also heard there are health benefits to being circumsized. Not that that really matters in this instance anyway, but just saying. Surprised by the preference for uncut.

I'm pretty sure everybody has seen their dad's "junk" at some point in time but most try to forget.
Personally I have a slight preference towards uncut. I don't really support the practice particularly to infants since they cannot consent for it. Though I think it's totally okay for those who want to get it or they need it because of a medical problem. I forgot the name of it but there's a medical condition where the foreskin is very tight and won't fold back to reveal the head or something of that nature.

I think the perspective on circumcised men varies by location. In Europe, many men are uncircumcised and prefer the "natural" look so to speak. In the US, circumcision is much more common for some reason and many people prefer cut ones here which is no problem at all. Cut and Uncut are just small preferences but say I were in the scenario of being cis and a girl wouldn't want to date me because she though my being uncut was disgusting or something.. well, I would respect her preference but she'd be the one missing out in this case :P. Also, I've heard a lot about the apparent benefits of circumcision but I think that a lot of it is just myths. And I guess cut dicks can appear more aesthetically pleasing since they're widely seen in [mainstream] porn and depending on where you live can also affect that. Anyways that doesn't matter much. Each to their own of course.. Heck if I could have a dick I wouldn't mind having it uncut or cut, I just have a slight preference towards the uncut.
Intact for sure. I would have been cut at birth because my brother was, but I like being uncut myself. In fact, once I started thinking of my analogous body part as a dick, circumcision became very upsetting. My girlfriend is Jewish, but luckily she doesn't believe in the practice anymore. Plus, after getting to interact with mine, she thinks uncut are much more fun. If our next kid is a boy, he will remain intact.
Do you guys have recommendations for intact packers? I haven't found any I both really like and can afford.
I don't know what your price range is. If you have never used a packer, I'd suggest something really cheap ($10-20) range. But I do really like New York Collections "Pierre". It has a really nice texture and packs nicely (no rounded balls, or I'd give it six out of five stars. :) It's not super realistic as packers go but nice to pack with. But otherwise very nice packer. Ftm Essentials which is reliable to order from has them for $55 (I believe shipping is in the $5-7 range to the US). BTW, do NOT get the smaller size they make. It looks like a pre-pubescent boy's equipment. Brett did a review recently. The large is like 5.5. Strangely seems just about right and not huge like you'd think. Another good thing it's silicone and not cyberskin. I need to go somewhere right now but I'll post a review today. Promise. :)
Another suggestion is Stylish Flesh. I don't know how much they are, perhaps a little higher for your budget. Maybe something like $75 for a simple packer (no STP). Shipping is probably a bit higher (They are from Russia). This is cyberskin. The guy is very nice to deal with, just bought a toy. They look super good. There are some recent reviews, if you look at the list.

Jay, I was actually going to ask you if you would take a picture of the Pierre next to both xs Limpy and RM's basic. I am having a hard time picturing the size and may order one.

I was wondering if Pierre was as huge as it sounded. Glad to hear it isn't. My primary issue is that I have super sensitive skin, so every iteration of cyberskin I've owned has ended only in hives. That's about as undesirable as it sounds, and I've also tried keeping the packer in its own compartment so it doesn't sit right up against my skin. It's also a shame because I really liked the tactile feel of the Sailor 1 I own. I have one from tranzwear. I like that that one is silicone, but the size and shape make the thing try to go sideways unless I really secure it with a harness. I would like to spend less than $100 if I can.
Also, I love FTM essentials. I used to live in Chicago, so that was a local vendor for me.
Thanks for the info, Jay!
I have no preference at all. If it's affordable and isn't likely to fall apart; I'm fine regardless as to it being uncut or cut.
It's silicone, if that helps. If you can't wear anything next to your skin at all, I use a jockstrap and put the packer in that. It sort of solves the problem, except if I pack for a whole day, then I wear a sock packer. LOL
