Title: Patches vs shots by pricing and insurance issues
Post by: campenella on October 22, 2014, 09:50:05 AM
I'm on generic testosterone cypionate right now and I was thinking that I'd switch over to enanthate since the price is lower especially on good rx with the coupon. The price for cypionate is steadily rising and I'm waiting for my insurance to switch over to male with medicaid while shopping around for a different insurance. If I can get my insurance switched over to male I can get my T for free in my state and I'm tired of the shots.  This still might take awhile and my refills are just about out for my T right now. It's a good time to completely switch over.

Anyway I was thinking of Androderm because even with a co-pay I can find it easily at my local pharmacy that I go to. I get irritation sometimes as a side effect of shots, but I'm tired of having to do it. My doctor will let me do a test run of Androderm once I get everything switched over.  Should I wait until November and completely switch over to patches and get a refill of cypionate in case I don't like the Androderm so I'm not just switching over between three things?

What are some of the pros and cons you've found on Androderm?
