Hey lovely ladies!!
I hope ure all well :)
I have a quick question regarding my wig!
Ive had this wig for just under a year, and its getting a bit lifeless, and tatty :/
Do any of you know how I could put some life back into it, and get it back to looking ok again?
I really dont want to buy a new one, as I like this wig, and also im growing my hair out, and dont want to spend £150 on a new wig for a couple of months :/
Any help would be much appreciated :)

Real hair or synthetic?
Synthetic hun!
I know I should really get a new one, but I dont wana spend the money as hopefully I wont need to wear It in a couple of months time!!
So im just hoping I can get a bit longer out of this wig :)

I can't remember the name of the stuff but there is something.
I used to wear a wig when my hair was shorter and I got this spray bottle of something. It was made for wigs. It conditioned it and made it look and feel much better.
I bought it at a place where they sold wigs
This site has what looks like good advice.

Over time, even with all the usual care precautions, the synthetic fibers can get stretched or pulled or whatever. This will cause them to loose their "set". Depending on what you use to wash the wig and how often will tend to dry out the fibers. With extensive daily wear a good quality wig should last a year or more when properly cared for.
If you do some searching you'll find people who have restyled wigs or brought them back to life. A good wig shop may also be able to help. Of course, if you have only one and need it, both approaches are dicey.
Mine just doesn't have the body it used to. A bobby pin here and there helps to keep my hair from always falling in front of my face. Almost as good as new. My biggest problems are the split ends and micro tangles. I also use a wig detangler/conditioner that you spray on and comb through which helps with both those problems

Aha! That's what I was talking about. That spray stuff does wonders for the wig.
