Title: how do you picture yourself in the future?
Post by: Dandy Dunker on October 27, 2014, 12:43:36 AM
:) it's 1:28 and I should be sleep buuuuuuuuuut I can't stop thinking about how I will look in the future. I plan on growing my hair out so I have long curly droopy spring ringlets I might invest in a good pair of glasses I imagine myself with a nice flat chest. side burns , thicker eyebrows and eyelashes from T.  I honestly when I look in the mirror just see a person not really me and I really don't know if im good looking to myself it hard for me to see that in myself but I genuinely want to and people tell me I am going looking but I truly want to see it myself and my hypothesis is that if I go on T I will truly see my inner workings and beauty and outside beauty as well. Anyways I want to know how you people picture yourselves in the future physically and mentally.

In the future, I picture myself with a shaved head and a full-on long beard.  Hopefully, I have lost some weight by then.  Mentally, I picture myself being what I personally perceive to be a "manly man".  I want to be able to just ooze out my masculinity, yet, just be a quiet man that goes about my business.

In the next two years or so idk future I guess lol I plan on rocking a mohawk (but not shaved head on the sides, like a 1 or 2 trim tho)
Have at least 1/2in gauges and hope and cross fingers my facial hair finally fills in like a normal dudes would and be rocking the chin strap look.
Bonus points if I manage to get down to my goal weight of 145lbs (need to loose 40lbs)

The sad scenario I have is that I continue to stay off t for the sake of my marriage. I continue to look like a weird, underweight woman who refuses to shave her body hair and who wears men's clothes too big for her.

In the other scenario I go on t. I gain about 5 kilos and working out finally pays off in muscle gain. I have stopped looking like a girl. Because I'll most likely go bald in a flash, I'll shave my head but rock some stubble on my face :D. I have a cool tattoo on my right forearm. Oh yeah, I don't have boobs. D'uh.

I couldn't imagine what I would look like before estrogen based puberty, and the same holds true for how I would look after testosterone and surgery. And I don't even try because I know I won't end up near as "hot" as I hope I'll be. LOL

I'll probably end up looking a lot like my Dad, though. Ever since I was a newborn people would point out how much I look like my father, and I the older I'd get, the more often I'd hear it.

If it weren't for our obvious age gap, people would probably assume we're brothers.

I'm trying to figure out where I see myself in ten years, and what I hope to see in the mirror. I'm thinking flatter chest, a traditional/conservative mens haircut, messy stubbl. Still wearing cheesy t-shirts with faux-witty sayings on them, unless I have some sort of important business, in which case I'll shave and put on a button-up shirt... without intense dysphoria. Then I'll take a deep breath and take care of business.

Hey, that was fun. Why don't I think nice things about the future more often?

Having a stable job while helping the transgender community on the side. I don't expect to be dating at all.

Physically, I'm hoping to have my boobs removed. I hope T and working out eventually pay off and I have a more masculine shape. I hope someday I'll be able to grow facial hair. Not a full beard, but a goatee or something. I already have long, metalhead hair although I may eventually have to cut it to get a job as a research scientist. Maybe not though.

I don't picture myself at all.  I just don't see how I could.  Meaning, no one really knows what the shape of their face will be, do they?  I can tell you that I would like a scruffy face.  BUT, I can also tell you that I won't be able to have one due to working in an office.  :(

My chest turned out great (except for the scars).  I had no way to picture that in advance, either.  However, I will say that Garramone really is a clone maker, so I think it is pretty safe to imagine how you will look if you go to him.  :)

A shorter, more charming mixture of the Brawny man and Wolverine.

In the future on T with all the surgeries needed done. I picture myself looking like a mini Jamie Campbell Bower ( I won't be nearly as tall as him) since I plan on growing my hair out a bit and going blonde once I transition. I picture staying as skinny as I am also a 30 waist is my gold standard though I do hope to get slightly bigger shoulders and biceps that's bout it. I very much like being androgynous skinny jeans fitted shirts and boots make me happy xD

This, except I already have Logan's attitude and it probably won't change.

Also, someone please say they want to be Mr. Clean when they grow up. :D

I picture myself with a lot more angles. I want to get back into working out and make it part of my routine. I picture myself with scruffy facial hair that i keep trimmed short. I picture no scars after top surgery. I picture covering up my girly side tattoo with a beautiful scene of the galaxy. I picture myself buying land and then myself shirtless, cut, tan in the sun building a tiny house on in. I picture myself making all my dreams come true.

I would really like to grow a chin strap beard, I probably have a few more years to go before my facial gets out of the "I have pubes on my neck" stage. I've been working on getting fitter so future me will be much leaner, with a bit of muscle; and able to walk up stairs without getting winded  :D

Once I've got my body shape how I want it I plan on getting tattoos all over my chest, arms, back and on my hips. I'm not entirely sure what I want yet, but I'll work with an artist to come up with something that will blend into my various scars.
