Just got back from electrolysis and had the upper lip worked on for 45 minutes.

Ok, I feel somewhat better.
Oh I hear you. My personal fav right now is right between my ear and my jaw. Can't wait to get to the upper lip and right under my nose.
I love my hair color but dang could this not be easier. I hope that this part of transition is almost over for you.

Oh yes, that spot hurts. Sadly I'm only three months into electrolysis so I have a long way to go.
That's so funny. I always say exactly that same thing after electro.
Yep, that's pretty much what it feels like. I usually have an hour either sîde of rest of beard too.
I used to get a shot from my dentist in the top gum which helped a lot
We do suffer at times. ;) I've got two hours today, and just finished the second clearing down below to prep for SRS. :P
My mustache is something I have always had, a trademark so to speak, as a "beard" (ironic) to hide behind in playing my male persona throughout my adult life (with two one-week exceptions). I will not present until I feel confident RLE is something I can pull off, so the mustache will stay up until the day I pull the trigger. I will have my laser and electro everywhere else and then attack that space. Don't look forward to that either.
I feel for you darlin'!
I've found the mustache area to be the worst area so far but I have yet to do below the jawline so I don't know how the neck will feel. I just asked my PCP to order the EMLA cream so hopefully that helps because the Alocane and Curacaine are useless.
Oh, the things we women due to look good...! I would not trade any of this stuff for all the money in the world. I'm enjoying the path I'm on and I'm looking forward to starting my hair removal. Just remember what we girls have been told all our life. No pain no gain! LOL I too hope this part of your transition is almost over. Safe travels...!
Hugs,
Melissa Ann
I'm very lucky I always had a hairless face, but genital electrolysis was NOT fun...

I'm lucky in one sense in that being intersexed means the density of hair on my face is much, much less than normal per the tech.
Genital electro...hell to the no!! I'm glad Brassard doesn't want it done. He's my top choice for SRS.
You know what they say, beauty is pain (or something along that line) :P
Thankfully, I don't have that much hair so I didn't have to do electrolysis but I did do laser hair removal on my legs and even that was painful for me.
