Hi, my name is Rara... I am a post-op woman living a very happy and contented life. I found Susan's by accident really, I was just looking around the net doing some research on post-op related stuff and came across the site via a cross reference. Anyway, I had a quick look and was very impressed by the layout. As a behavioural therapist I am a confident person by nature and hope to not only make some friends here but also be a friend.
I do not as a general rule feel comfortable extolling my own virtue, but when writing ones' own profile it would be pointless without having the confidence to say, "Ok, this is me." It is a mixture of my own awareness of who I am and how others have said they see me. So here it is, unabridged and written with the confidence that, to use a well-worn cliché, what you see (here) is what you get. I may be a very focused and confident woman but I am not pretentious and I do not edit my photos; they are as the camera took them. (Crows feet and all)
I am a 5' 8'' feminine woman, golden tanned with dark-green eyes and auburn hair. I enjoy opera, dance, ballet, music, (listening to and composing) art, (galleries) writing, photography and the theatre to name a few of my interests. I am gregarious by nature and love conversation and eating out. I have a good sense of fashion (so I am told) and love smart feminine clothes for general day wear, figure-contoured in the evening and a little more risqué for dance etc. Like a lot of women I love pretty lingerie of which I can now wear (having refused, pre-op) I adore 'doing lunch' and generally catching up with the girls'. I am vivacious and possess a wicked sense of humour and love musing. An evening out with me has left some breathless... so they say!
Although I am not the prettiest of women I am all woman and possess a very natural and feminine personality. I do not have any fetishes or hidden agenda, I am simply an intelligent loving person who is at peace with and enjoys her womanhood to the full. I include a self-quote here, which gives voice to my attitude to life.
