So I've had a fairly craptacular week. But this evening I went out for drinks with three other women from work for "End of a Craptacular Week" drinks. And it was fun. The conversation generally stayed away from work (the craptacular) and was just about a whooooooooole buch of girly stuff. Oh my god! Awesome! ;D
(Also, I am really drunk right now!!)
One of the thing I've noticed with work girls drinks is its stays away from work, but the second you add a guy, it goes to work.
Yay!!!!!!!
Go Grace :D
Girl talk and drunkenness go together like nothing else :)
Congrats and a great way to relax after a less than amazing week
Oooh I know what you mean. There really are few words to describe the joy of just being able to be, completely and wholly.
Fantabulous is about as close as I can get to it :)
You and me too.
What a craptacular week us both. :(
So glad to hear that the women at work have had no problems accepting you as female. At the end of a rough week, it's got to be nice to let your hair down and leave the work behind.
Happy for you, Grace!
congrats
You naughty girl you (!). :) :D
Being one of the girls is the best..
I actually have a girls night planned for this evening.. and yes I will properly get a little drunk too...
good times...

Careful. Need I explain the dangers of PWI (Posting While Intoxicated)?
Congratulations Grace, it sounds like you have an utterly wonderful night! I found after coming out to a couple of my female friends. They have treated me quite differently, treating me just like one of the other girls. It is an overwhelming wonderful feeling to be treated this way and I'm starting to find the friendships are much more intense and emotional than with any of my male friends.
Hugs,
Melissa Ann
Awww Grace! That's so good to hear hun!
#ImSoProudOfYou! Seriously, this really warmed my heart to hear, thank you :) ♥︎

FYI I'll almost certainly be coming back drunk tonight from the Halloween party at our local LGBT nightclub (and I'm going dressed in a really fem outfit lol :P ) so don't be surprised if there's a new message there after I get back ;) ♥︎
We talked about a whole bunch of stuff, health issues, partners, shark attacks (we do live in Australia after all!!), crazy stuff we did in university and the fascination boys have with their penis! Great night.

OOOOOOOuuuuh :D :D :-* Sounds like soooo much fun, can't wait for THAT time in my life.
Not sure why but this thread makes me happy :D
I totally agree, being one of the girls is just awesome. Ive spent the whole weekend so far with girlfriends and just love it :)
Great post Grace.
I had a 'weird' experience on Friday. I was walking to the loo and a young (probably Uni student) saw me and kept the door open for me, then asked where I had bought the dress I was wearing, we kept talking right through our pee ( ::)) washed our hands still talking and then left probably to never meet again.
Seemed totally natural, but certainly not something I ever experienced when trying to be a guy.
On the loo side note - I've now been to a fair number of ladies restrooms since transitioning, including large public ones that are often crowded - like last night at a major train station, I can walk in and not one person in there blinks at me.
