Title: Do other post-ops even have sensation when penetrated? :/
Post by: Evolving Beauty on November 01, 2014, 06:45:32 AM
Hi

My orgasm gets generated by masturbation of the clitoris rather than penetration itself.

I DON'T FEEL ANYTHING WHATSOEVER WHEN PENETRATED. Just like my breasts lost all its sensation when I had implants, no feelings at all.

I'm just wondering if other girls get sensation in their vagina when penetrated or you all feel neutral like me? Please share!

Hi Evolving Beauty,

Vaginal sensation depends on how long your post. Generally speaking the longer you are, the better sensate you should become. (Less swelling/better nerve reconnections/healing etc) Which may take 12 months or longer.

There's nothing wrong with being sensate in the clitorus, that just one or several erogenous zones. Given the fact there are fewer nerve endings in penile skin (inversion technique) than a homogeneous vagina, it may be overly anticipating a response from a region that can't supply the perception.

If vaginal penetration can reach the prostate, then you may be able to heighten the opportunity to orgasm. Refer to my suggestion in your other post, about orgasm techniques from Lonnie Barbach. Another suggestion, again dependent on when your surgery was, check with your Endocronologist what all your hormone levels are (E, P, T, & prolactin)

Remember, this is all new territory you are sailing in.

P.S. I've been vaginally sensate since week 3. To the extent, dilation has been a very erogenous activity.

Cis women have no nerve endings in there past about the first third of the vagina, so those of us who do have full sensitivity are actually outperforming nature. You're normal. :)

(I am in fact fully sensate inside, but it doesn't provide the majority of erogenous feedback; the clit and to a lesser extent vulva do, just as for a cis woman.)

From what I heard from cis-woman -I asked- they said to me that there is little sensation by penetration alone. They said it feels like a stick being put in, similar to dilating I guess? Other woman might be more sensitive, but I don't think it is common to feel very stimulated by penetration alone, besides psychological joy and the thought of being penetrated? hence the stimulation of the clit is probably necessary.

In cis-women, the vagina is largely devoid of nerve endings. I don't have any sensation in my neo-vagina whatsoever. That said, a vibrator placed in my vagina seems to trigger an enormous amount of sensation, so much so that I can come pretty easily.  It's reminiscent of 'old times'. It could be a combination of the prostate, labia minora and clitoris all being stimulated at the same time. However, dilation itself is as enjoyable as cleaning my teeth and is one of the least sensual and least enjoyable acts of the day.

I read it a lot that ciswomen say they have little sensation, but I think it is not jus tlike that. I believe there is a feeling, one feels what is inside, otherwise they would not sell structured dildos and vibrators :P - Just it is not that erogenous as lets say the clitoris which of course is many more times sensate.
To me it is like this - I have most sensation in the clitoris and having an O without touching it or near it is rare. I have quite a bit of sensation at the vaginal entry - the stretching of the PC muscle is a sensation that can be erotic (it is in the first 1/3 of the vagina). Further in there is less sensation but there is the "G-Spot" which basically is due to the skene gland which also is called prostate depending on if you want to use a female or male anatomical name for it (yes, both sexes do have it). The vaginal lining is to most parts not that sensate - it can be stimulationg together with other, more sensate parts and one can of course feel the vagina stratching or the shape of a dildo for example.

Oh and sorry about the loss of sensation in thebreasts. This happened to me as well and I feel somehow crippled a bit because of it. You know - someone touching your boobs during sex and thinking it would be good feeling for you and you feel nothing at all.

My clit & lips is about 95% of all sensation, the rest while I can feel it, it does nothing for me but hat "filled" feeling, which can be the best part if I love the guy, otherwise does nothing

My boobs, if I'm into the guy it can send shockwaves down there, otherwise if I'm not, it sends shockwaves to my hand which then slaps pretty hard
