Title: Seeking support and knowledge
Post by: jbrantley1966 on November 02, 2014, 08:09:58 AM
I have been dating my man for almost a year.  He moved into my house in June.   I found out he is a crossdresser in July but did not reveal to him until September when I started finding jewelry that wasn't mine.  He has since come out to me and he recently put his clothes, shoes, makeup and other personals in a dresser in our spare room.  He has dressed for me twice - his idea - and although it has been a bit uncomfortable for me, I have been very supportive of him.  I have not told him how confused I am.  I know there are many men out there who do this and it doesn't mean he is gay.  During our first open conversation I asked if he was bisexual and he says he is not.  I believe this but have questions and concerns and I am afraid if I bring up my doubts and fears he will feel I am not accepting of him.  From day one in our relationship his sex drive been low.  He says it has nothing to do with me but now that he is out and has dressed for me twice I am more confused.  Both times he dressed we had amazing sex but we haven't had sex with him not dressed for a month now.  I am so confused.

Hi jbrantley, welcome to Susan's Place! I'm from Boston.  It's great that you've come here looking for answers. Open communication is essential, go ahead and tell your partner that you're confused. They may be confused, too. I'm a crossdresser, and I can tell you from my experiences that it takes a lot of internal turmoil before I told anyone. Not knowing what reaction you will get can be terrifying. Your partner has trusted you with their biggest secret,  you have earned their absolute trust. I wish you both the best!

Hugs, Devlyn
