Title: Convincing my mum to let me get a packer?
Post by: jayyylmao on November 02, 2014, 09:48:36 AM
I really want to get a packer and stp, but I mentioned them to my mum once and she was like "nooooooooo". I think she sees them as weird and sexual, when I really just wanna pee. Any suggestions as to ways I could convince her?

Would she relate to trans being a birth defect? Those missing limbs at birth get prosthetics. Not much different.

That's a good idea, will try it. Thanks :)

If your mom is accepting of you being trans try and explain it as a needed tool. Some young girls want push up bras. A stp is no different. It makes you feel comfortable.

If she still isn't open to it after another discussion, you could make an STP and pack with things other than an actual packer. I had friends in high school who made STPs out of medicine spoons and packed with a pair of rolled up socks. Obviously not ideal, and you'd need to be careful about using the restroom, but there are relatively inexpensive ways around mom if she doesn't warm up to the idea.
