I had a colonoscopy a couple of weeks ago, and I was sedated with propofol.  I have a prescription for Ativan, and I was told that I could take it the day before the procedure, but not the morning of.  Anyway, I decided to discontinue it 6 days before my procedure, because I'm scared of drug interactions, even though the medical team said it was ok, I felt safer not taking it.  Anyway, your best option is to ask your Dr.

I believe Brassard has a pretty long list of medications you can't take without his permission, and I'd be surprised if those weren't on it. With that said, you absolutely can contact him and ask. I remember what a pain in the butt that was; I couldn't even take vitamins or Advil.
