...as the title says.
I know that some trans guys elect to have their urethras rerouted through their penises after a phalloplasty (I think?) but I'm not interested in "male-looking" genitals. Does anyone know of more neutral surgery that gives female-bodied people this option?
It just seems like it would be super-convenient. :P
Indeed it would be super-convenient.
Bare in mind though, the female clitoris is small. If one had clitoris growth from T, it would be much easier to hold it and pee standing up with it... that's just my opinion though. I had an enlarged clitoris due to a birth intersex condition so I was quite "lucky" in that regard because growth on T made it more pronounced than before.
There is a ring metoidioplasty - it has clitoris release, urethra hook-up through the new neo-phallus. Scrotoplasty and testicular implants are done in a second surgery and is optional. In ring metoidioplasty, depending on the surgeon you go with, vaginectomy (removal of the vagina) is not included, however with having a ring metoidioplasty completed, it does close the vagina opening by 80% - penetration is not possible after this is done.
I am not sure if it is possible to get a metoidioplasty that will allow you to pee standing up and still retain your female parts. I do know there is a transguy on Youtube (upperCHASE1) who wants metoidioplasty, to pee standing up but still keep his vagina as he enjoys penetration. He discusses it in one of his bottom surgery videos that he might have, if I remember correctly, found a surgeon who is willing to work with him on his unique result. ETA: I double checked and it looks like he just aiming for a simple clitoris release with no urethra hook-up.
It is possible for some FAAB even without surgery according to this article: http://www.wikihow.com/Urinate-Standing-Up-as-a-Female
If you haven't tried this already, I'd recommend trying in the shower before having surgery. As a MAAB, I just wanted to say it's sometimes messy for guys too, there's reasons that there's pee on the floor, it's not as simple as just aiming it.
