OMG I know exactly what you're talking about. I can't decide between heels, wedges, boots, thigh highs, anklets, open toed, rounded or pointed and I haven't even discussed colors yet. What's a girl to do.....! , it would be great if there was somewhere you can go that rented shoes. I know kind of disgusting, but it save a lot of money and be able to wear something different all the time. Just a thought. May the Angels always be looking down upon you, and guiding you on your journey.
Hugs,
Melissa Ann

YES THIS!!
I thought you had the Ebola girl! ;D
LOL I think it's funny how we all seem to panic or get alarmed at the thought of somebody here. Not wanting to do something that's girly. It's like what you don't like shopping for shoes ....!!!, we better get her into therapy. Now...! Or maybe should we just have are committed. Nope. She just can't make up her mind what she wants to buy bwahhahahhahahahaha....!
I love cute shoes and boots, but every time I see something I "must have", it NEVER comes in a size 13.
You know what always comes in a size 13? Thigh-high patent pleather platforms with 6 inch stiletto heels. Also available in red. Whips and chains sold separately. In other words, so not my thing...
Note to shoe manufacturers- tall girls need flats, not heels. When you are a size 13, there's a good chance that you're 5 foot 10 or taller.

This site comes with a branding iron Mistress. We don't need no steenking whips and chains!
Focus, Focus!
Do I really need another pair of black pumps?
Yeah, but these have a 2 1/2 inch heel.
They'll take up the slack where 2 inch is too low and 3 too high.
Put them down, step away.
OMG! Look at those caged sandals. They're freakin awesome!
But oh so impractical.
BUT THOSE BOOTS!! They are so sexy!
OMG! $500!!! Well, I don't really need to eat this month.

Meh...I stick with sneakers. It makes things much easier.
Oh Laura Squirrel. How can that be any easier? There's so many different styles, colors, different color combinations. Different types treads different types of materials. Heck, I bet you even went to steal toed sneakers just to avoid the porcupine quills hehe...! I don't know, but I just relish having all these options. It's fun, let's go shopping...!

I wear a lot of black or dark colors because they look best on me, so I usually just get black shoes or boots. And black goes with just about anything. :) As for the type though, I love heels so I tend to go with those. My recent purchases:

The boots I got are fantastic with leggings, and the booties are great with a lot of things. JustFab is a good site with a lot of good deals. Their sizes only go up to 11 though, which is fine for me since I'm 11 and it's hard even finding that size. Both of those are 5-inch heels, which make me the same height as my boyfriend since I'm only 5' 7" now. :) Funny how I wanted to be shorter and now I wear heels all the time.
I think my next pair will be shorter heels though. Maybe 3-inch, but probably similar style to the above. Sticking with what I like for now, but maybe I'll experiment with different styles eventually.

Well, I stick with Nike's. So, that narrows things down. I also stay away from neon color schemes. So, it makes things quite easy. The only real problem is finding a wide shoe. My mom has the same issue. So, the only place we can buy any footwear is at the outlet mall just outside of town. Honestly, I find clothes shopping to be quite tedious.
Not for me. I stick to flats and low heel wedges.
I reeeealy love shoes, for me Buying shoes is like play pokemon: "Gonna catch them all" :D
You know what I hate about buying shoes? Every single time I find a pair I like they NEVER have my freaking size! NEVER! It's the same everywhere I go like every single girl where I live has the same size as I do.
Shoes are nice, skateboards are better.
I've had good luck with zappos.com. They don't always have my size in everything I like, but they have a lot of choices in my size. Of course I now know that walking cradles tend to be a size larger and Bella Vita tend to be a size smaller than the other brands.

I don't think you'll ever find anything in a store that is cute or nice in a size greater than 11 (and even that is pretty rare). I'm a size 12 (I can sometimes squeeze into an 11, but not really), and I buy all my shoes on-line. I just bought a beautiful pair of cute/conservative 3 inch heels from Zappos (http://www.zappos.com/ (http://www.zappos.com/)) in a size 12. I looked on their page and they have 1600 pairs of shoes in size 13 (none are "stripper boots either"). They range from cute tennies like these

The fit was basically perfect. I know it's not the same as trying them on in a store, but when you are a couple of standard deviations outside the normal (for female anyway), it doesn't make financial sense for most "brick and mortar" stores to stock inventory for such a small minority. However since the overhead for on-line retailers is so much lower, the options are much greater.
Hope that helps
