Title: Cosplay
Post by: LoriLorenz on November 07, 2014, 11:34:48 AM
So I guess this is the best place for this.

Anyone do Cosplay of any kind? What's your fave and why?

My I Cosplay as a meber of Starfleet (See Star Trek for more) both as a regular Fleeter and a SF Marine. I am a part of Starfleet, the International fan association and have several uniforms for that. I usually like to CP as a Bajoran if I can.

I'm wondering what else I could pass as...

Haven't done it in years, used to be SCA. My son and his GF are steam punk and I would kinda like to get into that.

I do a lot of cosplaying with my friends in the summer. We usually go to our city's comic con as characters from an anime called attack on titan.

I haven't been to too many cons, but there's one for anime I've been going to yearly for a couple years now with some friends of mine. My favorite cosplay I've done is Madotsuki, the main character from a game called Yume Nikki. It's always been really fun for me, although my first time cosplaying brought more anxiety (and back pain, as I had a wind-up key attached to my back for 14 hours  ).

The start of it anyway. got to get the red contact lenses and add a few finishing touches to the coat.

I've always wanted to cosplay Rita Mordio or maybe Marisa Kirisame, those two are at the top of my list to cosplay. When I start getting money, any excess funding left over after paying bills and stuff goes to cosplay. Most of it.

Cool,- it was my daughter who introduced me to Ghost in the Shell.  I had a little thing going for Motoko Kusanagi myself for a while there.  :)

I try to go to as many cons and make as many cosplays as I can afford each year :) My favourite is the latest cosplay I finished; Bandit Keith from Yu-Gi-Oh! It's great for making YGO Abridged references ^_^

I love trigun

Coincidentally, Trigun is my favourite anime, and Legato Bluesummers is my favourite character from anything period :D My ultimate cosplay goal is to make an 100% accurate Legato costume, although my skills are a long way off making that ^_^

Been thinking about this. I don't know much about it but looks really good fun. I like the Goth/steam punk look but also mad for Star trek. Mmmm interesting  ;)
