Title: Is it time to get a pocketbook?
Post by: ImagineKate on November 07, 2014, 06:09:27 PM
My wallet is generally a pain now and I have a lot of cards.

I've always wanted a purse/pocketbook. It would make life so much easier.

When did you ditch your male wallet and get one?

OMG, ummm it looks like you have an addiction to plastic . LOL I haven't switched over to a purse or pocket book at but I did start a thread earlier about what to keep and a purse for you. It looks like about 10 pounds of plastic. If you get any more cards you're going to need a duffel bag :P :P :P

Bought a purse first time I went out as Suzi. When I went full-time, put the wallet into the purse, and it's been there ever since.

I usually carry a leather bag that holds my iPad. It works for both sexes... if you think men can carry such things without being heckled.

Chin up!

I haven't bought a purse because people think my camera bag is one anyway. I just shove my stuff in the front pocket. Haha.

LOL...

I have 3 health insurance cards, 4 credit cards (3 personal, one corporate), 3 debit cards (bank, credit union, transit spending account) and the rest are rewards/membership cards. I have been transitioning over to using apps for some of them such as hotel rewards for when I travel. And I have my DL, CCW permits (5 in total). Work ID and press pass lives on a lanyard or belt clip.

i just bought my second handbag. I have a slightly edgy style and I try to make my bag choices really compliment that. I love black leather with silver metal and very long shoulder straps. I quickly discovered that if you want to carry all the extra stuff that girls need, like cosmetics for touch up, and a hair brush, you need a bag big enough to accommodate that, which my first bag didn't do very well. That is why I left my keys on the bar last week and they got stolen. I am still dealing with that mess.

This bag with a skull on it is so me, but way too small for certain situations
