Title: My Life, is going so fast. *possible warning*
Post by: SilentRain on November 07, 2014, 07:31:14 PM
So, I failed one of my classes last marking period so I took a bad turn for the worst. It's hard to empower myself in these grave times. So, I kept to myself that I want to join the French Foreign Legion even though they reject LGBT people and I'm  unlikely to be able to join because I have suicide ideation on my record.*sigh*

.......But I'm a bit confused on something, even if I do not join the FFL, I still wanted to move to Sweden, one of the most LGBT friendly nations. Not only that, I want to live with the Sami tribes there! What wonder it would be to learn the essential skills of humanity.. Anyway, my biggest problem is that even if I do wind up heing with the natives, I will still be taking medication for the rest of my life since that would keep my femininity. Like, I can't be natural anymore, not only that, it sucks that I have to live with pills for the rest of my life! It's outrageous!

So, I was just wondering:

Sorry I haven't been active, I just didn't know what to say.

Silentrain,
I don't know about getting to Sweden or the tribal lands of Sweden, but I do know about being in a dark place. First you need to take a big deep breath and try to relax. I know I know nobody likes to hear that but you really need to just find something that makes you happy and start building your happiness from their step-by-step one day at a time. What you really need to be careful of is having a momentary lapse of reason and make in a rash decision due to something unfortunate happening in your life. Joining the French foreign Legion or moving to Sweden are just as life altering as transitioning. I try to look at it as taking medication to take the poison that's been running through my veins for so long, i.e. testosterone out. If you need to talk to somebody. Feel free to PM me. Just make sure you step back and evaluate your life path from here. Do you have a therapist to talk to? This is somebody you can work through these feelings with. I wish you nothing but the joy and happiness that you seek, will end me the Angels look upon you and help guide you on your path.

Hugs,

Melissa Ann

Thank you for such a quick response. I honestly don't know how to take a big step back and breathe. I was trying to start worrkng but my parents refuse to pay for therapy. Of course, i do have therapy, i just dont feel they will help me because my parents will pay for it. You know what, never mind, i dont want to go into detail, im slowly withdrawing from here, sorry.

I often feel like my life is moving so fast too and hate how I will be taking meds all my life, but you know what, it is worth it.

Either way I expect getting to Sweden will be just like getting into any other country. Get good grades, prove yourself intelligent and capable, work hard, learn the language and apply for a work visa to test the country out then if you like it, apply for citizenship. Though I don't know the specifics of Sweden itself. Why on earth you want to move into Lappland though I got no idea. I guess you travel north and pack some warm clothes cause that is legit insane, it is cold, backwards and probably bereft of all modern comforts. Sweden is nice though, mainland Sweden at least, I know some Swedes and they live well.

Oh and don't be dumb and try to join the French Foreign Legion. Please, army is not a good idea it wont force the trans out of you.

Good on you for wanting to move to Europe though ;)

Hey, if you figure out how to get into Sweden, let me know. I could deal with the cold ;) I doubt they'd let me in. I have nothing to offer that I can think of.

I never said I wanted the transgender forced out of me. Yes, Lappland, seems like a very fun place, after all. Im sure most people know atleast some English, not to mention, Swedish.
