Title: Wedding dresses
Post by: Emily1996 on November 07, 2014, 09:03:44 PM
Who else likes to look at wedding dresses online for no reason? I mean I'm not even old enough to get married and I don't have a partner but I just love wedding dresses  ;D What type of wedding dress do you like or would you like to wear for your special day? Sometimes I feel like I would get married a thousand times like Kim Kardashian just to get to wear more wedding dresses LOL

Omg, I love Say Yes to the Dress... If it's on TV I can easily watch 3 consecutive episodes hahaha
I think a princess-like gown, you know, fitted on top and full past the waist... I'm  just crazy about them :D
But who knows, I might go for something completely different when the day does come LOL

It may sound silly, but I want to do a professional photo shoot in one. I know I am not married or ever will be again, but it is just the realization of a dream even if it is only a picture before I get to much more hideous. Aging stinks!!  :)

Oh my gosh, I adore wedding dresses. Every time I see one on display in a store, I think about my soul mate and I envision us both wearing beautiful wedding dresses, holding hands and looking adoringly into each others' eyes... *melts*

I don't know about looking at wedding dresses online but if I am in a waiting room and there is a wedding magazine or something, I will dive on it. It is fun to dream about my wedding day while checking out the dresses. There is a wedding shop in a city near me which I always slowly walk past when I'm in town.

Love them... what girl does not....

I have never actually tried one before.. i know i lot of girls when they still cross dressed, tried them on... not me :(

A few months back, a friend of mine got married and i was involved in the wedding.. i was a bridesmaid.. and i caught myself imagining what my wedding dress will look like, especially when the bride went for her fittings.. i went with to some of them.

My dress in my head looks like this..

I want a strapless dress, with a corset type top with beading on it, and the bottom must be long and all puffy.. and i want to wear a vale.. I want to get married one day.. now that i have a steady boyfriend.. who knows i might be a bride someday.

You're already married, aren't you? You could have another wedding celebration with your wife after your transition to celebrate her sticking with you and how strong your love is, and this time, you both get to wear wedding dresses! :)

That's true but to be honest I don't know if she will stay. :(

I have a friend whose wife owns a bridal and prom dress shop. I'm not out to either him or his wife, but I've lost cost the number of times I've tried to wager a bet where the loser has to wear a dress and he's never taken me up on any bets. He did though weirdly guess my correct dress size as though in anticipation for me losing a bet.

Prom dresses don't work for me the same way a wedding dress does LOL I mean I really don't want to go to prom even if I was out and everything, and I don't think I would actually get invited by someone neither, and non couples get looked down in my school. I will totally be up for a wedding dress photo shoot by myself  ^-^

Emily, an interesting question.

Funny, I've never imagined myself in a wedding dress.  But just the other day I passed a bridal shop and got to thinking about it, and I guess it would be a simple unfussy cream dress to show off whatever basic curves I have.  And not too long, as my legs are a selling point :D

Since I was already married (as a boy, aaaargh!) any hypothetical future second marriage outfit would be simple and modest.

Hugs
Julia

ask him what he thinks of you wearing a wedding dress!

Although we were great friends, sadly we've both slowly drifted apart. Actually being around him was destructive to my own psyche and would often trigger my dysphoria. I guess it was all the things that guys would do when only in the company of guys that in the end meant I was the one that had to walk away from it all.

I'm not sure how he would take it now if I came clean about who I am after all the bromancing that went on.

I really wish I could have worn a wedding dress when I got married. I'm divorced now, so maybe I'll get another chance someday ;D.
