Hey hey friends. So I'm a few days late on my shot.. waiting for the refill in the mail. I did, however, find an old bottle with enough for a dose left in it, but it expired 2 months ago.
Whats the thoughts on using it? I'm assuming its probably just weakened a bit, but its better than nothing?
Someone here might know better though.
Thoughts?
(Oops meant to post this in just the FTM section... either way works, I suppose)
You should probably throw it away, no?
Expiration dates on any drug are not something that happens suddenly. In an FDA test many drugs were safe and effective 15 years after expiration. (See article linked below)
Particularly if it has been properly stored, I personally would not be afraid to use something even two years after it's expiration date.
Certainly your T was not good 2 weeks ago and bad now.
If you don't believe me, read this from Harvard and the US military:

Thats what I was thinking. I take "expired" drugs all the time of some of my other prescriptions (had the same one for years and the bottles just sort of added up... its not a daily med) and they seem to be just as effective as ever.
This refill was a bit over year and a half old and 2 months expired. I injected it anyway. Certainly didn't kill me... New bottle came in the mail today though. Hah.
