Hello! My name's Ashley. I'm kind of new here. I'm 17 and out to my parents. I see a gender therapist in 5 days, but was just wondering if you had any advice as where to start? I'm growing out my hair, but other than that I kind of need advice. Anyways, where do I start? I could really really use help with the clothing side of things. Thanks!

Being so close to 18 will help you with hormone treatment. Some doctors don't like to give it to those under 18 while others will. Good luck on your journey :)

Everything is right at your fingertips, so pull up a chair, relax and let your fingers do the walking. I do agree that being as young as you are. You should have great success with hormone therapy. Welcome and enjoy your time here as well as your journey :) I started HRT around 19 and a half. My my you are lucky to start younger than me. Anyways have fun :D
for MTF facial hair removal is quite important to get started on so laser is a good place to start if you have dark hair and light skin. also hair removal doesn't have to be just a trans issue like my therapist said "there are plenty of guys who get laser" basically if you hate shaving then go for it. even if you dont transition not having to shave as often is quite nice! Also start experimenting with cloths. buy them online if you dont want to be seen buying girls cloths in the store. if you dont have a credit card yet buy an amazon gift card or some other online store card. Im still in the experimental stage myself and buy mostly online. I would recommend buying cheap cloths until you figure out your size/style
Edit: also for pants and other cloths you cant really convert your male size to female size for example I wear a size 30in in mens pants but if I wear a size 30in in womens pants they will just fall off. I wear a size 3 in women which is 26in. its confusing but you''ll figure it out.
