Hello. My name is Cat. I was born a female but im not sure that is who I am. I am so confused. I really feel like a man sometimes. I would rather be a man. but at times... I reconsider because I have a boyfriend. My mom and him are all I have. neither would understand. I feel like I have to hide the real me. When I am alone I put on my boxers and walk around in my sports bra and call myself Elijah. I like Elijah so much better. He is so confident and comfortable. But when I am around people... I feel like im hiding. I don't want to lose my boyfriend and mom but idk what to do.. I feel so alone and confused. I am 22

It would be a good idea to see a gender therapist to help you sort out who you are. The is a vast array of information and some great resources on this site. It's normal to be confused and scared about what you're feeling right now. At least I hope it is, because it's all new and kind of frightening to me right now too. Take your time to figure yourself out and try not to let your fears get in the way of being who you're meant to be :)
