I am elated today!
a couple weeks ago my grandmother had told me that she wanted to buy me a music box for christmas, and at first i was apprehensive, debating if i really wanted a music box, because thats girly. I came to the decision that i really liked it and i wanted it even though it was girly.
a while before that i was filling out papers in the car and my name had to be writeen in a small box. i have a long name, so it brought up me asking her how she would respond if i changed it.
all this is happeneing before im even out.
today she took the liberty to ask me what name i wanted on the music box, and i told her Kayden. she asked how to spell it and i told her and that was that.
it was the best feeling ever! This is huge for me, it just makes me more comfortable with the fact that i willhave to come out to her, and im not so afraid to do so anymore now that i know she is already starting to accept that that is the name i will want to be called, even though i havnt made tha part very clear yet.
no more words, just bundles of happy in my chest.
