I just told my best friend that im transgender. She was very accepting. She hugged me and said we would talk about it when she got home. She had to pick up her boyfriend. She is the only person who knows about how I was meant to be a man. I feel like im about to puke im so nervous about this conversation.
Congrats on coming out to your friend! I'm so glad she's accepting, and now that you know she is, try not to be nervous. If she is truly your friend, then she will stick by you. Just be yourself when you are talking to her and relax. :)
That is a scary place to be. I told my adult daughter and I thought she was going to run for the hills, but after it sank in overnight she has been so excited to help me with clothes, makeup, mannerisms and the whole feminine aspects of my life. On another note when I told my wife I did pule and then cried for about three hours.
Just be careful and honest and you will be alright and probably have an even closer friendship.
Wishing you the best.

Hey! so we talked and it went well. She was very accepting and just asked questions so she could better understand. I feel like a big weight has been lifted from my shoulders.
That's awesome! I'm glad the talk went well with her. :)

Awesome, I am so happy for you.
It does feel soooo good to tell someone and get it off your chest. Just be careful or the next thing you know you'll be running around telling everyone. LOL
Hugs and welcome to Susan's
Oh sweetie that's great. Here is a great big (((HUG))). I think you will find the more people you come out to the easier it becomes. I know I was scared to death of telling anybody in the beginning, including my psychiatrist and doctors. But once you find out that the buildings aren't going to crash around you. The sun will rise in the east still and it doesn't start raining cats and dogs it becomes a lot easier.
Much love,
Melissa Ann
