I just saw the thread where someone used her masculine voice in the female bathroom which of course is quite the happening but afterwards (I hope) it is something you can have fun about also. Then I wondered, what kind of silly moments have you had which were funny afterwards?
For me to start, I remember being in the train. I had missed the previous train, had to run, was exhausted and was grumpy already anyway. I had a pony tail, feminine clothes and my legs crossed looking at my tablet so I doubt anyone saw anything different than a woman. A lady passes by; I am sorry, but does this train go to ***? But because I was pretty pissed off I used my most masculine voice ever; Like I know, I just ran in here. I looked up at her saying it and I will never forget her 'wtf' face. And me oopsing after it happened xD.
It was 1 on 1, so well, kinda funny :P.

I think the time I misgendered myself when talking about myself in the third person ranks pretty high up there. The people I was telling the story to knew I was trans but since I'd been giving them a hard time about misgendering they just blinked and took it in their stride.
I talk in third person all the time since I'm used to speaking from a company representative point of view I use us and we're quite a bit. I get strange looks when I'm by myself and say something like we're glad to be here. I have actually been asked "will this be a table for two or more" then I can only respond with "no, I'm by myself"
I haven't had any major awkward moments but this might count. I was out with a male friend whom I am out to. We were talking about things in our lives since we last met. I started to go on about this new purse I just got. He is very use to me talking about such things.
Once I got done a lady at the table next to us leaned over and asked if I had a picture of it because she thought it sounded awesome.
It totally took me by surprise as in a deer in headlights surprised as I totally still present male at this stage. I fumbled with my phone for a bit to find a pic of it on the Web to show her and she replies "Wow that is an awesome purse. Where did you get it?" I told her DSW (Designer Shoe Warehouse) which then led to a string of more questions.
The whole thing was very awkward for me but my friend had a big grin on his face the entire time so someone found it humorous.
I was buying makeup recently, and the cashier glanced at me and said "be with you in a second, sir" as he shuffled about the cash register. He then looked up and said "oops, sorry, miss." Funny thing is I'm not full time, don't dress like I am, but I guess I looked super androgenous that day. ;D
A while ago my mum and I where out shopping at target, got some things and went to the checkouts. While we were there the checkout guy ( called Micheal )and mum started to talk about how Micheal and I were single. The thing was that mum accidentally used male words for me. I watched the checkout guy as he looked around bewildered for mums son that he thought was supposed to be with us. I bet he thought that mum was crazy. Afterwards mum said that the checkout guy was acting wierd and I told her what she had done.
Early into RLE being busy and distracted and going into the male restroom. I didn't know guys could cover up that fast. ;D ;D
Another bathroom tale:
Was in a casino on the toilet, and my gf came in and shouted "Beth??" (she hadn't seen me come in, and was looking for me). Of course I'd not yet learned a femme voice, so I just kept quiet. After another yell, she left.
I finished, walked out and saw the communal sink where one washes their hands...and there were 3 older ladies there! I made eye contact, got flustered--if I washed, awkward questions may be asked, if I didn't, I could leave faster and ignore them...I took the path of least resistance and quickly exited. :angel:
In hindsight I can laugh at myself, panicking like a little girl! My apologies to the community for giving us a reputation for not washing our hands! :-\
Bathrooms are such struggles but also quite funny xD. I remember being in a restaurants bathroom where the mirrors were really big. The way I was washing my hands I could see what walked in while they couldn't see my face, just my back. A guy came in, saw me from behind and he just didn't knew where to look, quickly passed me and went in a stall xD.
That was enjoyable :P.
