Hello,
So today I realized that what I thought was just major swelling may in fact be dog ears! I am 7 months post op and they haven't really gone down at all, so I think they're dog ears... What I want to know is, what is the dog ear revision consist of and how much time will I have to take off, what will it look like, etc? Or should I wait longer to see if it goes down with time? Is there a way to tell if it's fat, swelling, or dog ears by the way it feels maybe...
Thanks!
ps I had double incision. everything else looks great and I'm very pleased. I'm quite fit and young.

Email pictures to your surgeon and ask them if it is dog ears. I wouldn't put the cart before the horse! :)
I just had my dog ear revision. My surgeon did local anestesia and did the revision with me fully awake, but numb. I paid $300. It went fine.

Was she able to do it right in the office?
Yes, do tell, Darrin. Enquiring minds and such. I'm terribly concerned my surgeon will leave dog ears.
