I personally feel someone needs to write some more classics.
Yeah, I've never been a fan of xmas songs and I've always felt for those in retail at this time of year
 Heard the same xmas incantations for so many years now.... yeah could do with something new coming along.
Love xmas tho, but so over-commercialised :P (hmm wondering how I'll be next :-\)

one of my most favorites is ' do you hear what I hear ' sung by Bing Crosby. it just seems there could be a lot more non commercialized songs like that.
also Bing and David Bowie ' Little drummer boy'.
we listen to the same 1 hour cd of christmas music... with repeated songs by diff artists, 9-10 hours a day. every day for a month and a half, every year ive been at work, 3rd year now =.= need something new. definately
nothing wrong with the old ones... I think I will stick to the oldies... to me they are all about the peace and happiness ... family and love
some of the best holiday songs were written by my tribesman ... even though were not followers of our most notorious member... LOL
::)
It's November
I plug in my phone into the car radio and listen to my own music now. FM radio jumped the shark for me a long time ago. So I can now enjoy some reggae music, or perhaps 80s ballads or instrumental rock (Joe Satriani, my favorite) instead of the boring holiday music.
We don't need new songs. We just need to wait a little longer to start playing them 24 hours a day.
I love the classic Christmas songs. Silent Night is my favourite. I whistle Christmas songs even in the middle of summer. They love me at work!
heard alvin and the chipmunks, and all i want for christmas is my two front teeth. 6 times last night. and will, every night, for another month, at least.
its been a week and my head hurts already.

Hmm starts earlier every year... Houses getting all Christmassy since beginning of November, can you believe?

This xmas a lot of my friends have kids doing their first year at school, I've been invited to 3 xmas plays and concerts already.
The concerts I don't mind, but the plays, hearing about the "story of xmas" the birth of christ (something I just do not believe in one bit) well how about driving a few nails into my ears.....

the weirdest thing is celebrating Christmas during summer. Things are so inverted down under!
Yup sure is... migrated from UK in eighties... still struggle with hot Xmas 8)

As much as I would love a white Xmas, I love our summer ones, give me 40c sunshine, friends family and drinks

I have to settle for daily tropical storms and 30 deg heat.
Seen a Singapore storm, I can't remember ever seeing rain drops that big and not getting hit, was 34˚ and the rain was nice, but all the shopping centres were flooding
