'too few service people know about the memo or have been trained on how to be respectful'.  They need new management and employees.  If an adult needs to be trained how to be respectful, he or she has no business working with the public.  Just more typical nonsense from the US Fed.

My experience is that some public servants have forgotten that they are there because of the public not in spite of the public.

Exactly, Kristina. If the Elephant man came up to me, I'd know how to treat him with respect and courtesy. If a six inch tall woman approached, I would know how to treat her with respect and courtesy. Why do people have to be told exactly how to treat us? Isn't it obvious? I just want to be treated like a human being.

Well, I'd really like to be treated like visiting royalty, but that might be asking too much.
