So I know this is a very personal topic but I would love to know the variation that exists in trans women in regards to what breast size you can end up. Also how long have you been on hrt to get your current size?
Many countries have different measurements, so it is difficult to given an accurate size for everyone to understand. So I used this converter (http://www.85b.org/bra_conv.php)
EU: 95B
US: 42A
UK: 42B
AUS: 20A
B/E/F: 110B
I/CZ: 6B
It is weird to see that US/AUS sizes drop a full cup. Anyway, it is what the calculator told me.
It took around 6 months to 1 year to get to an A. Another two years to a B. 3 years in total before the size was stable. But I heard that it can go up and down after surgery, so I might not have the final measurement.
I am 45, 5' 7" and 165 lbs, need to get back down to 150 but at least its going to the right spots since I went on IM injections.... I started out with three months on a feminizing herbal regime that to my amazement did work and I started growing a month in on that and Ive been on legit HRT for 7 months now... I fill up a 38 B bra very nicely and they are still growing, Im hoping for a small 36 C in the end ;D
34A. 16 months on HRT . Small boobs run in my family :(

almost 3 Y in HTR... now 38 C.... boys cannot keep their eyes off it... btw I am in the fifth decade of my life.. LOL
MY BMI is less than 20, but I have an A-cup. I always wonder if my boobs would fill out if I had a BMI of 21 or 22. I have bony hips too, no fat to be found :-(
38 "C" just shy of "D" at just over 9 months HRT. I am 49 and thank G-D everyday for having 47XXY that made it all possible! :)

38DD according to Nordstrom's fitter; 42DDD in my favorite Lane Bryant T-shirt bra. 5'7", 220 lbs, coming up on five years on HRT at 37 years old. However, I got most of that development within the first year - I've added about another cup size between year 2 and 4, and am still growing but very very slowly now.
(My mother is small, but my grandmother was curvy and my sister is 36DD at a much smaller 5'1".)
6 months on HRT and I'm too big for a 38A and don't quite completely fill out a 38B yet. But they hurt and are still growing.
55 years old about 3 years on HRT, 5'11" 180 lbs and they are now a full 36C. I was -totally- flat chested and around 165lbs before hrt. I blame 10 lbs of it on my boobs. I really could stand to lose 5-10 lbs but while the girls were growing, I didn't want to starve them :P

Im starting to accept that at least 5 lbs of my weight gain is boobs ;D They are getting to be more than a handful and I can kinda guess on the weight :)

I've had HRT for 5 months as of tomorrow. I can still feel the pain and itchiness related to the growing. I don't think and hope it doesn't stop anytime soon!! :)
36A for me so far... I'm 42, 160lbs, 6'0" and almost 8 months HRT.

12 months and 38 D.
I'm 28, 5'7"/5'8", 140 lbs.
I'm a few weeks shy of 1yr hrt.
I'm currently in 36A, but I think my cup size may be off due to overlap and a bit of side boob.. I don't quite fit into a 36B though. I might try dropping my band size to see if it helps with a B cup.. It seems they're still growing slowly. (:

I'm happy with that, I seem to be dropping band size but not increasing/decreasing cup. I started out with an 18B (AU) 9 months ago, the band barely fit at first and the cup was pretty loose (I probably would have bought an 18A if I could have found one!). Then I the band became much looser so I switched to 16B, again the band was a tight fit initially and the cup was OK but obviously not full that was about 5 months ago. Yesterday I bought a 14B on a whim and it was a perfect fit. Weird. Anyway, although I would like to make 14C (my sister is ??H apparently!) I am happy with where I am at, the girls are obviously there but don't draw much attention and seem to fit my tall slender build nicely.

13 years of HRT got me to a, naturally attained, 42C US Sizing.
A breast augmentation took me to a (sub muscular so as not to damage the breast tissue) 42DD.
That said I am 6'1" with broad shoulders so DD sits more like a C and a C sat more like a large A small B when compared to my frame.
Kami
full a cup but since my band measurement is 32, sometimes 32b bras fit really well too since it has the same cup volume as a 34a so I know I'm not a true b cup yet.
I just started HRT but I would want to be a 36C and keep it there. Wishes can come true... :-*

A little question: How do you do that???
In germany nearly all trans-women have to make a breast augmentation. I only know a few get more than a AA or A?!

So I know this is a very personal topic but I would love to know the variation that exists in trans women in regards to what breast size you can end up. Also how long have you been on hrt to get your current size?
First off, under most circumstances, breast development exceeding a B cup is rare for any AVERAGE transgender women, no matter if your close female relatives have big breasts or not. Also be aware that development will take at least two years to reach maximum size. Check it out on any trustworthy web site or book regarding HRT for the MTF and you'll see this is true.
In light of that, I really feel that your question is leaving out some crucial data that would have helped get a more accurate assessment for you as to what an AVERAGE transwoman would give you as an answer. Here's the questions that would have really helped:
1) Are you intersexed? (This is NOT the average MTF woman's case, these women can easily go above the B-cup normal ceiling, and they most likely are a minority)
2) Did you start HRT at the onset of puberty or during your puberty, at any stage? (Again, this is not the average MTF woman's case and again, these women can get past the B-cup with no problem, even more so if they started at the onset of puberty).
3) Are you overweight? (Please tell your height and weight if you dare!). Most overweight transwomen also accumulate fat tissue in the breasts, just as elsewhere, which translates into bigger cup sizes.
3) Do you have any breast implants? You ask this question, expecting of course to get an honest answer. Many people who have had plastic surgery never admit having it because of the stigma that admitting it may generate, among biased and prejudiced people.
Mine are A+ if i am barely borderline overweight, and B if i am just a bit overweight, that is, being 6 feet tall, I am an A+ if I weigh around 180 pounds, and they become B-cups if I weigh anything past 182 pounds. If became obese, I am sure I could easily become a C-cup. God forbid! I don't like my waist area as it is, so, getting even more fat, no thanks!
I am not intersexed, I started my HRT after my puberty was finished. I am borderline overweight, so I am an A+ now. If the bra has slight padding, I fill a B-cup fine, but if it doesn't have any padding, I don't fill it completely, specially the upper párt of the cup. I wear 38-B or 40-B bras, sometimes I can fill a 38C or 40C but only if it has padding all along. I don't have breast implants, and I started HRT almost five and a half years ago. My mother is a real B-cup (no padding at all), with padding she'd easily fill 36-C or even 36-D bras I'm sure, but she only wears bras with zero padding. My older sister I think she is a B-cup as well, my kid sister was an A-cup I estimate, so she had to get breast implants to become a C I believe. And I'm sure she denies it all the time, but I KNOW the truth lol.
Bottom line, size varies depending on those variables (being intersexed, starting HRT during puberty, being overweight, and having breast implants).
Cheers
Bibi

*** Addition for people who do not agree with the B-cup ceiling for average MTF women***
I really feel the need to "dispel the myth" about "cup equivalencies". As later on in this thread, Jenna Marie mentions it, I quote:
"42B is the same cup size as a 36DD"
"back at the time when the average cis woman's cup size was 36C, a trans woman at 38B would be the same size."
First off,
42B IS NOT the same as 36DD
36C IS NOT the same as 38B
This myth comes primarily from a table on the "Brassiere Measurement" page at Wikipedia, located specifically on here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brassiere_measurement#Calculating_cup_volume_and_breast_weight
Just scroll down a little bit so you can see the "equivalency chart" which honestly couldn't be more wrong. It uses band and cup size and it is supposed to be aimed at a "B" cup person, as an example of how to calculate "equivalent sizes" for your REAL bra measurement.
In essence, that chart expresses that "The same underwires are used for the cups of sizes 36A, 34B, 32C, 30D etc. ... so those cups have the same volume".
I tried that myself, by finding the cell in the chart, where my REAL comfortable size was at the moment, 40B, and reading the so-called "equivalencies", which according to the chart, are these: 42A 40B 38C 36D 34E 32F 30G 28H
What I did was simple: I actually got a couple of bras that I could find for sale, in a couple of the "equivalent sizes", that is, a 42A and a 38C. Results? 42A: Band a bit big, cup too small for me. 38C? Band a bit small and a rather huge cup that I couldn't fill either in area or sheer size. I mean if a 38C looked borderline ridiculously-big on me, just picture a 30G, if they even make it, how ridiculous it would be, a HUGE cup for my breast size and a tiny band along with it, so it, as a whole, would fit my real band size, with a wrong cup size, that just makes no sense at all!
Please by all means, do that experiment yourself if you think I am wrong, find the cell in the chart where your most comfortable size you actually wear is and see the "equivalent sizes", and then proceed to get a couple of bras in those sizes. See if they fit! They won't, and most probably will look and feel a bit ridiculous on you like they did on me, I am sure!
So yes, I could delude myself into thinking, based on that misleading chart, that "hey I am a 40B, but I am also a 34DD, yaaay!!! I have DD cups!!! Yeah right, nothing farther from the truth!!! 40B is for somebody with an underbust of approximately 35-36 inches underbust size and a REAL B cup breast size, while 34DD is meant for somebody with about 29-30 inches underbust and REAL DD cup breast size, it is that simple! Of course there are exceptions, but that would NOT fit the norm, it would be people with somewhat different breast shapes, but it wouldn't apply to the majority.
Bottom line (this is my 2nd "bottom line" in the very same post, sorry!), IMHO it is always better to use your REAL bra size than an "equivalent" size, just to feel like you have bigger cups than their real size and delude yourself into believing that's for real, but to each their own!
I'm a 38A, 38 years old, and have been on HRT since February 2, 2014. (About 10 months)
1) Are you intersexed? (This is NOT the average MTF woman's case, these women can easily go above the B-cup normal ceiling, and they most likely are a minority)
Not sure honestly, I do have some signs that indicate I might be but I haven't had the test to determine that, like my overall skeletal structure and pelvis are pretty feminine.
2) Did you start HRT at the onset of puberty or during your puberty, at any stage? (Again, this is not the average MTF woman's case and again, these women can get past the B-cup with no problem, even more so if they started at the onset of puberty).
Hmm I started at 21 but I'm pretty sure I wasn't done growing yet since I had a lot of changes happen. I'm at a full A cup, early tanner stage 4 with a 29 inch underbust. 2 years and 8 months on hrt.
3) Are you overweight? (Please tell your height and weight if you dare!). Most overweight transwomen also accumulate fat tissue in the breasts, just as elsewhere, which translates into bigger cup sizes.
nope not overweight, 5'10, 140lbs
3) Do you have any breast implants? You ask this question, expecting of course to get an honest answer. Many people who have had plastic surgery never admit having it because of the stigma that admitting it may generate, among biased and prejudiced people.
No
Five years starting at 20 yo yo a 36 c cor awhile although i guiño Rudy are d'a Noe vea os pretty snug
- 37 years old, 6'1", 150lbs
- 34B approximately - The band size is for sure, the cup size is difficult to pin down solidly because it's still a 'moving target'. I suppose with an A-cup bra I could really 'boost' the girls with the push-up effect but 34B seems to provide the best comfort and look at the moment. I also have a padded 34C bra that fits with very little looseness in the cups. That one is for my expecially 'proud days'. ;)
- HRT 14 months 2 weeks AA, 12 months 3 weeks E as of posting. (Tickers are in my signature.) Development began shortly after starting E but has only recently reached the point where I consider the shape to finally resemble the typically feminine roundness I hoped for. It took that long for the skin below the nipple line to grow enough to let the bottom begin to round out properly. When they get warm and relaxed-enough they currently can point out a bit too much for my liking (hinting towards tubular) but I know that this is genetically the shape of my Mom's breasts anyway so I'm hardly going to complain.
- There are no other conditions I'm aware of or have been tested for that contributed to my development. I would never get implants as I prefer small, natural breasts (both on me and on a partner).
I will note that much more important than size to me was look. To me they don't just look naturally female, they also look very attractively shaped and colored. A bra just makes them look even better and pulls them towards center a bit more. I don't need more size after having seen what a well-fitting padded bra can do based on my personal sense of taste and scale. Obviously I'll still be subject to potential further growth if my genetics are favorable but I feel 34C to be my personal cap beyond which I'll get too self-conscious about it. I'm simply too skinny and modest! I think I've always had a healthy outlook on this subject.
Anybody here who is getting estrogen as pills or gel? Or are you all on injections?
I'm really wondering about your great breast growth!

4. No implants, all natural.
It's also worth bearing in mind that cup volume varies by band size - so a 42B is the same cup size as a 36DD. Since trans women tend on average to have slightly larger rib cages, their cup size may be correspondingly lower without actually being *smaller.* I've seen too many polls that average higher than B, though, to think that's anything but a myth. (Or possibly that it was true once... back at the time when the average cis woman's cup size was 36C, a trans woman at 38B would be the same size.)

I am intersex 47XXY and started developing breasts during puberty.
I am a small C cup and haven't actually done HRT as yet. Just herbs such as pueraria mirifica, then the past year bovine ovary pills. But next is a true HRT with estrogen patches, which are on order at this moment and have just been shipped. Can take up to 3 weeks, though, to arrive. If it is true that one can only get one cup size less than the mother and sister was, then I must be lucky at where I am at now. The patches, if not giving further breast growth, then for the other changes in the body will suffice. I am ready to see that happen. I went with the patches because of others I have met seem very happy with the changes.
I'm celebrating my 15th anniversary of my 35th birthday, lol(meaning I'm 50 years oldl)

I weighed 118 lb's today at my Endo's.
I've been on hrt since December 27th, 2013, so closing in on 1 year.
My bra size is a 32B to 34B depending on brand.
I however am intersex and my booby's are still growing, so at the end of the 2 year mark I expect I'll be in a 32C or 34C(depending on brand) which, for me I'm tiny up top so anything bigger than C's on me would look disproportionate I fear. In all actuality, I'm very happy with my B cups but ya can't stop mother nature. ;)

Using a womans bra size chart I am a 42C but in reality I only Just fill a 38A cup I believe its the width of my Chest as I was fairly Broad shouldered before I started transitioning
I'm 20 months into HRT (but with 6 months of that on a bad dosage without breast growth in the middle), and I'm at an EU 85D (with a BMI of 24). I think it's mostly about genetics, my mother is at an F/G cup, so the chances of me ending up with anything below a DD seemed low to me when I started out, and as I still notice signs of growth, I am still of that opinion. I would have been pleased with a C cup too, but I love my breasts no matter what size they are :).

I fully endorse that statement I am chuffed to bits with my Boobs I do not hide them at all but unfortunately nobody has made a comment on them Yet .I am looking forward to somebody other than my Wife noticing them LOL .The other Day we where outside at night waving goodby to guests and it was bitter cold my breasts where hurting and i mentioned this to the Wife the cheeky woman turned round and tweaked my nipple Ouch I will have to get her back one Day
Hi Anna,
I have been on HRT over 2 years. All of my HRT meds are in pill form. I have been on estradiol and spirolactone for two years and 2 months. I have been on micronized progesterone for 4 months. In two years I've gone from flat-chested to A-cups. I am currently in between sizes. Eventually they will round out to B-cups.
I was told that whatever size breasts of the women in your family you can only hope to achieve a cup size smaller. For example both my sister and mother ended up with C-cups prior to being pregnant so the largest I can achieve would be a B-cup. I wish I had C-cups but if I can at least achieve a B-cup without breast enhancement surgery then I'll be happy with that. Implants are not an option for me.
Its too bad that bras aren't made in odd sizes, only even sizes. Because of my shoulders, my ribcage and my breast size I would currently be considered a 37 A-cup. I normally wear a 36 B pushup bra. It fits me just fine. My last significant amount of breast growth was within the last 8 months. My breast growth has been occurring much more slowly since I've been on the progesterone. No doubt its been maturing my breasts.

no kidding here but try Victoria's Secret they are by far the best fitting bra and most comfortable I have ever wore and they are currently the only bras I have in my dresser. They are kind of pricey but well worth it IMO
