I am currently in the pre-transition holding pattern (for career/life reasons) so I spend some of my spare time pre planning my transition once I get it kick started. I am looking for some specific aesthetic styles in surgery results so ive been following most of the surgeons out there to see who rings true for me, should surgery be something to pursue (im pretty sure it is! but you never know once HRT starts). Ive seen a few around that I like but the one doctor who has eluded me is Dr. Rumer. I cant figure out what type of surgery she uses and pictures of her results are non existent. I have tried contacting Dr. Rumers office but she always wants to skype, I feel since I am so far out on the beginning stage of transition it would be a waste of the good doctors time.
I was wondering if anyone out there who is a Rumer girl would like to point me toward a place where I can find pictures of Dr. Rumer's SRS results, it would be greatly appreciated!

Can't help you there. I attended a presentation she gave at the Philly Trans Health conference in 2013 and saw results pictures there.
She does a standard penile inversion, similar to Brassard.
I'm happy to answer any questions about my experience with her. I created a diary of my experience here: https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php/topic,164493.0.html (https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php/topic,164493.0.html)
The bottom line is that I'm happy with the result.
Can't help you, but when I googled Kathy Rumer SRS the images were a who's who of Susan's Place!

LOL...I checked, and yes there's a LOT of familiar avatars there! Including yours, Devlyn!
Mine however, is not. :(
I know, I saw myself too, and I haven't had any surgery!

Odd. What does that mean?
She seems to be one of the ones on top of my list too. I just figured out which insurance plan I'll be going with, that pays for SRS. She said she will get my insurance pre authorized for me after we meet for consultation and figure out what I exactly need, costs, etc... But I won't be able to schedule this until next year when I move out her way. The other surgeons I found simply just tell you to pay it all up front, then submit the claim to the insurance and have them pay it, which to me is useless. Although insurance is paying for SRS, I am still saving up for costs they won't pay.. breast augmentation, butt/thigh augmentation.. just in case I need it... as they won't pay for these services.

The picture links to my post in this thread when I locked it. https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php/topic,138421.msg1116889.html#msg1116889 I checked in the shower this morning, I definitely haven't been to Dr. Rumer!
She post your picture as a happy recipient of her SRS??? ???
Now that sounds like a lawsuit!

No, I think someone in the locked thread must have mentioned her.
ahhh.....
This whole google image confusion is probably my fault. I posted my surgeon's name with my profile info on all my posts. So now everyone who has ever shared a thread with me has their name associated with Dr. Rumer.
