Title: I'm [reluctantly] out to my daughter
Post by: Jen682 on December 04, 2014, 05:02:12 AM
After a divorce 20 years ago, my 26 yo daughter was mostly raised 1000 miles away from me.  Although told by an evil mother-in-law that I CD, she didn't believe it.  When she asked me 10 years ago, I denied it.

Recently my daughter has been living on my property while looking for a job.  Sometimes while dressed I would go out on the porch.  There were a couple of encounters on dark nights that I rationalized she saw nothing.  Today she appeared unexpectedly and saw me fully dressed in full daylight.  The full shebang:  skirt, blouse, pantyhose, breast forms (with cleavage), lipstick, makeup, long red nails, wig, corset, and turquoise blue heels.  There's no denying it now!

An hour later I invited her over to talk.  I asked her what she thought about it.  I was afraid she would say something like she was ashamed of me or it was weird.  Instead it surprised me when she said that she didn't have a problem with the cross dressing, but that my outfit looked terrible and my makeup worse.  Then she gave me a couple of makeup tips.

Overall we had a good talk, one I guess that was overdue.

I was wondering. If you have kids, do they know your secret?  Of those that do, how many now see their kids while dressed?

Hey Jen, I'd take that as an encouragement. Like you said she didn't say something bad, but at least she was truthful with you and she helped you out as well.  :)

It's a good start, Jen. Your daughter helped you on a couple of pointers. I'm guessing that she's okay with it.

It's a good start, Jen .  .  . I'm guessing that she's okay with it.

I guess she is OK with it.  That's a huge relief!

I find more stories about kids accepting more than parents.  That's awesome :)

I think your daughter is to be commended for not condemning you and for her non threatening reaction.  I hope that over time, you and her can build a new relationship, based on who you truly are.  You have entered a new phase in your relationship and I wish you and her continued success in discovering your real selves.
