A woman at work everyday tells me that I will never be a woman because I can't have kids or periods.
And reminds of my birth name and that I was born a male.
Most of the time I ignore her. But sometimes I just say I have 2 kids, proberbly a couple more I don't know about. And thankfully I can't have periods. Otherwise each month I would grumpy like my ex wife. But the other 2 remarks I cannot answer to shut her up.
Naturally I could throw the rule book at her and get her fired. But I don't want to alienate me from my other colleagues.
Anybody got a good comeback to shut her up.

She sucks! Throw the book at her, she doesn't deserve a job.

Let me get this straight: Any woman who has a hysterectomy is no longer a woman?
What is she, then?

She probably also thinks she owns the keys to the Universe, or what? You are probably more female than she is, and she's jealous about it. Just say: your mother is a man, look in the mirror you ugly cow. etcetera. I wish she would try that stuff on me, she wouldn't last one insult. It's not okay, you need to step up and tell her.
By the way, no-one is born a MALE. We were born as a human baby, then grew into a boy.
Hate to say it but JustASeq is right, she needs to be catapulted to the sea.

haha yeah sun works too xD
Throw the book at her, she went out of bounds by shooting her uneducated mouth at you. She is playing dirty aka psychological guerilla warfare. If you say I dont to talk to you and she still comes at YOU repeatedly, give her both legal barrels. But if you associate with her or talk to her outside of your work duties, your just at fault.
A name is just a name. Or does she think animals in the wild (nameless) are also genderless?
Not sure about you, but not everyone automatically wants kids, just because they can. I usually respond that I have seen too many alien movies to see something kicking from inside of me as a beautiful thing.
Does she have kids? Karma is a bitch and she should watch her words before she figures out she can't get kids, or gets a handicapped one. Nothing against that but someone talking like her seems like she would find that a bigger deal than usual.
And last.. she aims on hurting you, so don't feel bad to do the same in return. Look at her and figure out her masculine traits, or insecurities (everyone has those especially those who act like a bitch to others). As example (I don't know her) her hands. I would just say something like; You must be really hurting about something. Does it bother you that a biological born male like me has more feminine hands than a biological born female like you? First work on your own insecurities before you find the need to point out the ones of others.
Thanks Gals.
I don't häng out with her after work. It is just at work she says crap to me. And usually I have a remark to say back to shut people up. But now I have a few to say back to her.
Yes I could get her fired, but I don't want her colleagues sticking up for her and then making my life hell. I just want a peacefull life. I just thought of one. She's just jealous cause I have bigger tits than her.

Yes you can and you should. If management is supportive of you you should talk to HR, she is bullying you and needs to be reprimanded at the very least.
Workshopped comebacks never work anyway (lest we forget that episode of Seinfeld with George's failed attempt at a witty riposte.)
My mom can no longer have kids and (I'm assuming) she no longer has her period. Shes just as much of a women.
Also some people are born XY with a vagina. Its rare but not that unheard of. Most don't even know about it until they attempt to find out while they are sterile.
Some poeple are born XX with a penis. This is super rare, but it happens.
Some people are born with both.
SRS can fix having the wrong genitals.
So in summery if fertility is the requirement for being a woman, then all older women aren't actually women. If its about genetics then there are people out there that aren't really the gender they think they are and don't even know it. If its about body parts, there is SRS, but why would a single surgery change your gender overnight? No all these arguments are flawed.
You should tell her, that at one point, everyone in the womb was literally, just an anus. Then make sure she realizes she never evolved past that.
Actually everyone has been female at some point. We start out as female and then at a certain point in the process the Y chromosome tells the body to destroy the female components to make room for male components. In a way all males are transgender.
Ask yourself. If she said to one of your black coworkers, "you'll never be a real person. This country was founded by white people for white people. You were imported as farm equipment, and you are really 3/5 of a person." Would you feel sorry for her and just deal with it? Absolutely not!
We get a sit down with the lawyers every so often to remind us of the non discrimination policy. We get talks on appropriate conduct in person and on places like social media. Respecting others is the heart of it, whether or not there is a law or rule in place. We should all strive to create a comfortable work environment. She clearly is not.
I would run to HR and your manager in a heartbeat. She is creating an extremely hostile work environment and I wouldn't want to work with her.

record her saying that crap.
post it on YouTube with her home address publicized
this was what happened to the owner of a tourist ripoff shop here in my country. a lot of people sent unpaid pizzas and deliveries to his home too. he's probably been blacklisted for every fast food delivery chain in town
when I'm pissed, I'm really pissed.
Wouldn't take it to that extreme, really. How much better are you if a person makes you feel like crap, to make them feel like crap on the internet which spreads like a maniac if you are (un)lucky?
Besides, recording may be against the law in some states.
So, you have the grounds and means and take action but would rather not.
>:-) >:-) >:-)
I'm sure you're no stranger to this, but welcome to the bitchy world of women. So what is your goal here? To tire her out of insults? To find her sore spots and poke her back? Or to even gain some respect from her?

That is disgusting. Handicapped children aren't handed out like punishment. I'd rather have a handicapped child that knows how to show love than someone who hates on handicapped children.
Throw a bible at her head & say "LOVE THY NEIGHBOR"
Folks, there are easier ways to win friends and influence people. We don't need to start with the most aggressive approach, do we? And how about we keep this a low testosterone zone...?
Take her for a quiet and private coffee. Gently explain that her comments are hurtful and unnecessary, and educate her a little about transgender issues.
If that doesn't work, then you have a reason to escalate the issue to HR. In any event, I assume that HR knows about you and has offered its support?

I agree with this part.

But find this offensive. From my perspective when you tell women to stop the male hormones , it feels like you are telling people who obviously identify as women to stop being men.
You could follow the first two before you tell women who may or may not be dysphoric they are acting like men.
I still think my option is VERY valid.
Throw the book
So, logically, a cis woman who's had a hysterectomy, has not had her genes checked, has a unisex or "boy" name, or who was born with a vagina but an accidental clerical error listed "M" on her birth certificate (all of these have really happened, though some are more common than others)... is a man?
And if she's THAT hung up on these things, I assume she interrogates all women she meets about their internal organs, life history, karyotype, etc.?
Hell, I'd say the easiest way to shut her up is to point out that unless she's actually had the test run - and she probably hasn't, it's expensive and most doctors won't order it without cause - she doesn't know she herself is not genetically XY. It happens, and some women like that grow up with typically female bodies (it's less likely that they'd have a fully functioning reproductive system, but not impossible). So if you turn this around on her every time by pointing out that by her own rules SHE might be a man, she may realizing she's having less fun fast.

Gawd.. Need to defend myself with all I say. As mentioned, I am not against handicapped people in the slightest but that woman sounds as if it be an even bigger deal to her.
The issue is Kirey you insinuated that having a handicapped child is a negative thing, a universal repercussion for bad deeds. That may not have been your intention, but I think it was. While no parent wishes their child to be born disabled, many parents find a life of love and unquestioning acceptance from these children that everyone would envy.
Also I have issue with anyone recommending that anyone on this forum stoop to the level of their attacker by bashing or flaming the person. It's simply not acceptable. Please avoid doing so in the future.
