Post by: Wild Flower on December 10, 2014, 03:21:04 AM
Black Cohosh/Soy Isoflovones to be exact. Has anyone use these and gotten results?

Im looking to just get a mental calmness... and a little transistion while I wait it out.

There effects are like a placebo effect, I use to use em with a wild yam cream or a non  prescription progesterone cream, it can soften the skin a little bit, it also seemed to make me feel a little more feminine, but other then that it's all a placebo effect.

I've had good results with herbals, although I'm not using the ones you listed.  I can't go into more detail without breaking Susan's rules. Do your research and try not to buy anything with flashy advertising, that's my advice.

I used some herbal stuff for maybe a month or two before I good into a Doctor for a prescription for hormones. I didn't feel much of an effect on herbal and was spending over $100. When I started my prescription I felt it within days and spent less then $50 for more then a months worth think it was 3 months. I paid out of pocket without insurance on a sliding scale.

So your already using em I take it, they can do a little bit, but I kinda drew that down to a placebo effect myself...
Haha wait until you try real HRT.  :)
