Title: 6 and a half weeks post op. taking hrt but when I walk I feel my legs woozie...

I know some of us have different bodies and older or younger but some of us can't do the same procedure as the others went through or exercise like some had the chance to. When I was 2 weeks into recovery I thought I could walk around and be healthy and so I walked around the hotel then went back into my room.

On the third week, I decided to go walking with one of the girls who was there 1 week longer than me to the Tesco super market in Thailand which was 3 blocks away from the hotel we stayed at and that was a bad idea, I was at the brink of fainting.

So then I realized maybe it's because of menopausal symptoms since I had basically no hormones in my body. Dr gave me folic acid but even that didn't help with the dizziness and almost fainting.

I took advantage of having wheel chair support flying home at the airports so it's confirmed that everyone's body is different. Once I seen my gynecologist she told me that it was because I was going through menopause so I took her advice and got back on hormones and though I still feel woozie when I walk around, I'm getting better slowly.

Maybe it's because I laid in bed for almost a month and hardly walked around that my legs or body isn't used to walking far places but I'm going to the gym on a treadmill tonight to exercise my legs. Hopefully it resolves my issue with feeling woozie when I walk around to walmart...

But wanted to know if anyone had this feeling 6 weeks after surgery? I'm taking estrodial Valerate injections which my obgyn instructed but what else could be causing me to feel like I'm losing balance or worried or feel like I'm about to get dizzy and faint but I'm not...

you asked this before right? well yes for a lot of post op they need weeks of recovery.. it depends on the person i think! everyone experiences it different.

started hormones again when i was home after 5 days in the hospital. only thing i experienced is that studying was difficult to focus, when i went back to school after a month. but after a few weeks that feeling got away..

but i didnt experience this, after 9 days post op i was at a funeral (did get very tired after that) but after 14 days i was riding my bike again (im from holland lol) and doing grocery shopping.

and i had also a breast augmention + srs in 1 but never had any pain so ive been lucky i guess!

hey, you shouldnt strain yourself yet as youre just only 6weeks post op. My surgeon advised me that i can resume exercise such as jogging 6 months after my surgery.

Im also 6 and a half weeks post op. Had my surgery last october 28, 2014

Dont strain yourself as the skin in your vagina is still healing

Thank you. I mean, I don't want to exert myself but when I walk around to walmart, I could but I just get lightheaded and that's when I walk far inside a grocery store. It's not to a point where I'm about to faint but just the lightheaded feeling and I was wondering if that was normal.

I also had those experience but it was only when during my first 2-3weeks after the surgery. I tried walking around the mall and doing shopping and I always feel lightheaded. There was even a day that I had a mild fever due to straining myself much and my doctor put me back to bed rest for 2days
