i put on an older binder today and it was hurting my ribs in the store, so i put my hand under it to relieve some of the pressure. the zipper popped..... thankfully i was wearing a hoodied shirt, and it's a bit bit on me, so i was able to hold my shirt out in front of me and go to the bathroom. but the bathroom stall didn't have a lock. i basically ended up going to the car as quickly as i could.
does anyone have any recommendations for zipper binders? my other one was from t kingdom. i really liked it, but recently it doesn't give me the look that i like (i'm bigger chested) and the second one that i ordered is made of different material...don't really like it. same style, though, but they definitely fit differently.
*i've tried tri top and i do not like it; because i have a bigger chest and a smaller torso, it tends to roll up. it also hurts my ribs a lot.
I don't know how much you are willing/able to spend on a binder. But I did like the Loveboat binders (didn't own one with a zipper). Might try that. The only thing I will warn you about is that the binders run quite small. I'd guess 2 sizes small, so if you would normally get a small you get a large. Returning is complicated, and I donated ones which did not fit me. (I think maybe I should say ONE size too small. I'm on the autism spectrum, just did not do well with binding.)

i think that they may run smaller because asian sizes are smaller compared to western.
My understanding as well. YOu might get some other advice re: size. I think I ordered all my binders on the larger size, due to having sensory issues.

Related to what Jay is saying, the binder I ordered from them, I got it in a medium when I normally wear a small, and it was perfect. I just went by the size chart they had and if I was close, I'd go for larger like any other binder. So if you're more sensitive you may want to go up one more like Jay, and if you're less sensitive, size chart seems accurate.
