Today everything is well I have found some support groups in Ohio to attend, I told one of my friends today about my upcoming change and they were very encouraging and then I realized I am not living in fear anymore! I am scared of the moment I fully come out to my family and such but I am not living in fear anymore!! Praise Jesus!!! This is a good day.
That's so good Kelli... enjoy your journey :-*

Very happy for you! Letting go of the fear, or going forward in spite of it is an amazingly liberating thing!

Congrats on releasing the shackles of fear. I just relatively recently stopped caring about what others think of what I wear or how I act.
;D congrats! ;D I'm in OH too, yay!
I too lived in fear for a long time. I came out to some close friends, and had all the wonderful folks here at susans for support before coming out to my family and work.
After coming out to everyone and going full time, I look back like "Why was I so afraid?" and "How did I manage to live like I did before coming out?" One thing is for sure, I'm so much happier now, and I feel I have a much stronger relationship with my family, work, and friends.
I'm super happy for you, and can't wait to congratulate you and share in your happiness after coming out to your family!
Having support is very helpful when it comes to addressing fears about how people will react. I am glad you found the support you needed.
I myself am terrified of what my father will say/do after I tell him tomorrow night, but having everyone else on my side makes me feel so much better about the inevitable confrontation and way more optimistic about the outcome. So I see where you are coming from.
