Title: smudge-proof foundation?
Post by: Sabrina on December 21, 2014, 09:09:26 PM
I would like to wear foundation but due to my job it might get messed up. I frequently have to wear special safety goggles that go right up to my face. Can anyone recommend a smudge-proof foundation? I would hate to have things get messed up when taking off my goggles or blow my nose.

I use a true blend liquid foundation from Walmart that is thinner then most foundations, and it gives the face a fresh smooth, evenly toned look and when you place a mineral powder foundation lightly over it, it holds it in place.  As a side note I will say that when I only used the true blend liquid foundation by it self it use to rub off easily if touched, but found on YouTube a trick that made it stay even if I touched it and that was a light spray with light hold hairspray.

Most if not all make up will smudge if you are in direct contact with heat babe. As CrissyMarie stated earlier, setting it with a powder might help but if you are sweating with the goggles on it might just leave a mark on your face and that aint cute :)

I suggest do spot concealing using a nice concealer to cover redness and imperfections and maybe just lightly powder your face.

You can also try to use a setting spray by Skindinivia after applying foundation.

As a suggestion, Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation is a good full coverage, long wearing make up. I hope this helps.

Thanks for the tips. There is so much makeup stuff to learn. I am slowly learning eye shadow and enhancing my natural perpetually angry look.

Kat Von D foundation is what I use.  It's awesome!
