Title: Christmas Gifts
Post by: Just Ole Me on December 25, 2014, 12:27:47 AM
So I received my gift tonight for Xmas from my wife. She said it was to make up for a life of presents that didn't fit and the ones I should have gotten. They were wrapped individually:

A Barbie doll for the one I never got as a little girl
A copy of Judy Blooms "Are you there God, it's me Margaret"
A copy of The Fault in our Stars to be my first book to cry over
A diary/journal
A heart charm necklace
A makeup brush kit
A collection of eyeshadows
A daily girls inspirational book
A Nail polish set
A jewelry box
Earrings

All in a cute soft shabby sheik tote.

OMG, I so burst into tears!  It's the best gift I ever received!  She TOTALLY gets me and my GID now.  It's amazing how far we have come. A little over a year ago it wasn't pretty and I feared my marriage might be over.   Here we are now, closer than ever, so in love and the very BEST of friends. I NEVER thought I could feel this happy or loved!  By my 40s I figured I'd be dead.

I know how very lucky I am and I hope you girls find someone to love and support you like my sweetheart does.  I'd be lost without her and her support.

Merry Christmas to all!  Happiness is out there.

Hugs

Kay

That's awesome Kay!! Definitely makes a great Christmas for sure!!

My day wasn't so bad (I'm at my moms) I got a makeup kit, 3 cute lo-cut sweaters :D, a funko toy, and a home made cookbook! But I did however get an early bad present on Christmas eve, I got a ER trip :( thankfully it didn't go south as I had an Epi pen handy :/ so... yup.  I hope others have or are having a good Christmas.  and for those that can't answer that I pass on my prayers of love and support.  :/

Awesome! I can relate. My wife got me a ladies watchwatch, panties and a blouse, all opened in front of family to whom I am not out to yet. A bit awkward but she thinks that it is all in my head. I look at it like in am "easing out" to the parents etc. Great day and I love to look at my New watch on my wrist

It was actually just money, but I was trying to call attention to the name on the present...
