Another Christmas thread. This time what did you get for Christmas?
My family were very generous to me this year. I got a ton of Doctor Who items and a new pair of Doc Martins (black with colorful flowers all over).
Nothing much - $100, a Christmas pudding, some Lindt chocolate, a bottle of (dubious label) red wine. Have to admit I don't really partake of the gifting thing but even that feels paltry by comparison to past years.
The nicest thing I got was a workplace Secret Santa - a hand made make up purse.
Chocolate from someone at work
A gift voucher from my grandmother
Shoes from myself
An embarrassing photo of herself from a friend
A text that said Merry Christmas big sister
The last two where my favorite
I got a new shotgun, an optic for one of my ARs, tiles (to find lost items) a solar charger for my iPhone and awesome gifts the kids made in school. Going to look for a cheap clay thrower so I can start bustin' some clays. I got a box of bio degradable ones too.
I gave my wife an easel and a new handbag. She loves to paint and she needed a new bag.
The kids got a train table, a telescope, 3 new chairs to sit in the home office, Anna and Elsa dolls from frozen, toy trucks and cars (small ones), new blankets (Anna and Elsa) and a toy horse.
Most of all though we had a wonderful day watching movies, cooking and having a good time... I had a good time despite having to present male (more on that to come elsewhere).
Dresses, jewelry, shoes, Scotch and a new purse.
Lysol
Hand sanitizer
Gloves for dish washing
Money
A Visa gift card
A Calendar
A Gamestop gift card
A house phone
2 Boxes of Yoohoo drinks
Nothing.
A very nice tunnel scarf - I already had two others, but this is the nicest of them all - mostly, because it is long enough for wearing as hood (of course, in hood mode it completely stops being unisex and become very much female accessory - but it looks nice on me :D ).
A male friend gave me a very nice scarf and some nice slippers. Another male friend sent me some auto polishing rags (???). We do talk about cars a lot when we call each other, but honey I don't wash mine anymore by hand because I don't want to mess up my nails  I'll find a use for them somewhere around here.
Neither of these guys are my biological family - from my biological family I got diddly and squat, and none of them even sent me a Christmas card even though I sent them one *sigh*. My birthday is coming up in a few days and we will see if any members of my biological family bother to send a birthday card to me. They always get one from me.
Money. No presents for me and my uncle took notice and parents were like "Yep, we'll give her presents later." It was just money.
I did better this year . I got a $10 Starbucks gift card
I got
money (to be put towards my transition XD)
Gift cards (which I will try to sell)
Candy (which I will not touch)
Hygiene stuff (which I have way to much of and will not need down the line)
A calender (Which I do not need)
Fish oil (Which I needed)
Cat food (for my cat which she needed)
Once a day Vit (Do not know what I am going to do with them yet)
I got nothing, of course when I moved I never gave anyone my address and stopped responding to them, so I wasn't surprised.
$150
A mic stand
A heavy duty music stand that I will be using for my Alesis SR16 drum machine. (For totally brutal Industrial Noise!!) ;D
An an Amazon gift card and £100 from each of my aunts which I used to buy new binders. I also got £38 from my dad xmas day which was a nice surprise which I bought clothes with online. Also got a hairdryer from my dad's gf, not sure if that's a not too subtle way to tell me to stop bothering them by asking for the house hairdryer from my dad's room sometimes ::)
Not what i really wanted.
Nothing. Was on the road most of the day though riding to Vermont to visit my softer and nephews. Still nothing though.
The love of dear friends and a bit of peace of mind :icon_chick:
A voucher for a tandem skydive. Finally something to look forward to in 2015: I'll hop off a frickin' plane :D
I spent this week alone. But it was an amazing Christmas. This week..
-Had my first makeup lesson.
-bought my first wig.
-finally after 44 years I met my inner woman, the one that's been screaming "LET ME OUT OF HERE!" for my entire life.
-I've never been happier
-came out to a neighbor, she was totally cool and offered to help me with makeup(!)
For spending Christmas alone, it's been a darn good week.
My partner gave me a self stirring mug. It makes good coffee.
I got myself some electronic stuff which I regretted and immediately resold it for a ten quid profit. Best thing was I dropped it off half klick away from the post Christmas party I was attending
I got a new messenger bag, a PS3 controller, and some pillows.

All in all, sounds to be a lovely Christmas. Hhmmm....What kind & guage of shotgun, and what caliber are the AR's?
I got the usual girly-stuff, plus something else from my spouse.
Well my wife and I did go shopping and buy two dresses and a top for me, lol.
The shotgun is nothing special, mossberg 500 12ga. The AR is 223/5.56, S&W M&P 15, just your basic cheap AR. It works for me. Not really buying much in guns these days, just wanted to get a scope to shoot long distance and a 12ga shotgun for home defense and occasional clay shooting. I would have gotten a semi auto but didn't want to spend the money and I live in NJ so all the good stuff (pistol grip, high capacity) is banned.
My wife got me a couple of cool razors, a bunch of awesome shirts and some fun stuff (rubber duckies, Spirograph).
Ps4 (not a big gamer, but found I missed racing and other games after giving my wii to my brother, and we thought this would be a great treat for top surgery recovery time)
Stp, harness, packer
Transgender coming of age novel
Basket of hand-made vegan treats, vet, very good even though I'm not vegan
I gave to wife:
Spiritual carving book
Twin peeks blueray set
Fancy chocolate
Binoculars
gift card to restaurant she wants to try
My family will gather and trade gifts this week.
PS4 (with TLOU Remastered, and Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag), some new clothes, a copy of Space Atlas, Michio Kaku's Physics Of The Future, and a National Geographic special issue covering epidemiology. My friends and family definitely satisfied my science interests. d:
