Title: "Why is it so squishy?"
Post by: TrojanMan on December 29, 2014, 10:23:19 PM
So i recently started taking judo which is basically wrestling, and I'm worried about being touched. At my first class I wore a medium Mr limpy, and my sparring partner didn't say anything about it. There is a lot of touching in judo and I'm worried that someone will say something. Today my partner was a girl so I doubt she even knew what its supposed to feel like, but I'm scared about wrestling another man.I have a smaller STP (model d) that may be easier to conceal but its very firm so its a trade off. Does anyone else take a form of martial arts? I thought about wearing a cup but my friends said you shouldn't in judo.

I would have thought most guys would try to blank out the experience of inadvertently groping another guy's privates. Surely it wouldn't be long enough for anyone to tell, besides I thought those packers were pretty realistic.

You could wear a jockstrap (without a cup-- honestly I own a cup, and OMG is that thing huge it wouldn't actually fit my body). They'd feel the material of the strap, but honestly, if someone is fondling you that much it no longer sounds like judo. :)

I'm with Ms. Grace on this - all the guys I know would be horrified to realize that they had touched another dude's junk and they dang sure would not say anything about it if it happened.

I actually wear a jockstrap as a harness because it makes it look more natural

i have done taekwondo and a little bjj

i wouldn't stress to much as any contact isn't going to be noticed as your moving around a lot(at least i never did), not to mention everyone else is going to be there to learn or train.
A question which may or may not be relevant is do you have one of the uniforms(forget what there actually called), if not this may help as the material is a lot thicker than your everyday clothes

The guys are not going to be thinking about what it feels like if they grab around there.

Yeah, I'm with the other girls, most guys aren't going to be thinking about how realistic your junk felt.

Mr limpy's are very realistic. They pass a squeeze test and what not. I had the stp but it broke, so I just ripped the tubing out. My bf told me it feels realistic.

I did wrestling but this was before i identified as male. No one does that kind of stuff, but I do know of coaches that say to grab and prod at ur junk. so just act accordingly.

Gonna echo everyone here, if they got your junk, they'd sure not wanna talk about it! Mr. Limpy "stands up"  ::) to the grab test, so you should be safe, but the jock-strap idea sounds pretty good! (I may steal it for myself ;) )

Ditto to what everyone else said + I would stick with Mr. Limpy rather than the firmer model d.  That would stick out, I think.

I train in karate, judo, and jujitsu. I agree with what's already been said- no one is going to call you out on how your junk feels. I worried about this too. I would however recommend a cup. I wear one for judo and jujitsu. We have one instructor that likes to test if guys are wearing cups by hitting the groin. I'm more worried about not reacting correctly if hit there and not wearing a cup ("oww my balls!") so I wear one. Martial arts have been amazing for my self confidence, so I hope you love training too! Good luck man!

As someone who has groped clothed and unclothed real penises, I will say that a Mr Limpy passes the squeeze test, and the dick part would pass a naked grope (balls are too squishy to be realistic). But a quick touch in a Judo match...they're not going to have time to assess the real factor.

Soft dicks are pretty squishy.

I agree with Konnor wear a cup in a jock strap. Then you will pass everything, someone hand slide into the area would just feel the cup if anything at all.  If you should get hit in the area having the cup will be the reason you are not in pain and you don't have to worry about how a guy feels getting hit there.

That's funny! I got this one right once at least. Some overly friendly dog came and nosed me hard in the crotch. "Woah that didn't feel so good!" Haha.

Oh boy and congrats on all your martial arts training, Konnor.

As a transman I took brazilian jiu jitsu.  I wore a packer and then a cup over top.  Never had any comment from male or female partners.  Not wearing a cup is going to be weirder to them than anything else.  Especially when you get unintentionally hit in the crotch and don't even flinch.  I'm pretty sure most dojos/studios/gyms/whatever require men to wear a cup.  Really though, I think most of the time people are too focused on what they're doing to worry about that kind of thing.  That or they're intentionally trying not to feel your junk... which isn't a very hard task as gi pants are usually pretty loose and kind of stiff (especially new) in the heat of everything who knows if its a leg, stomach, or crotch you've actually made contact with...

I'll shoot you a PM with info, Alexthecat!

Haha yep you're right on with your reaction, Jay! Thanks for the congrats!

I definitely agree with gnomekid- most of the time your partner will be concentrating on form if practicing techniques or winning if you're sparring. I can assure you that we worry much more than necessary about things like this. One thing I thought to point out- not all dojos are the same, but mine just has a small open room for men to change in. Since I come straight from work, I have to change there. I haven't had top surgery yet so I usually just have to wait to be alone to change my shirt. It's a pain. You won't have to worry about this if you can change before you get there or your dojo has more private cubicles or something. Just thought I'd bring it up. Good luck!!

Gonna echo everyone and say don't worry about a think. Besides, the last time I sorta sparred with this new guy, not from the area, his hand grazed over my packer for .2 seconds and he ripped it away extra fast and changed positions too. Lost my voice that week as well so I passed with my voice lol.

As someone cursed at birth with male parts, I can let you in on a secret. The 100% genuine natural article.... is squishy. If your packer feels squishy then that sounds right to me. Squishy *is* realistic.

DW has copped a feel while I've packed with a Mr.Limpy and it passed just fine. I really wouldn't worry dude.

Your's most likely isn't going to pull like taffy, but I digress. :)
I think it unlikely for your martial arts brothers to pull this like taffy. I think if they touch it they will get stunned and back off quickly.

Actually it does. It always did, even when it was in working order...
