'Chicago- Denee Mallon marveled at the view of Lake Michigan from her hospital bed in the windy city, where she had just made history: The then 74-year-old-transgender-woman underwent a milestone sex reassignment surgery'
Congratulations to her!
Hopefully the Dr. continues to accept Medicare, I've already sent an inquiry.
Yeee-hahhhh!! (https://www.susans.org/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fthefiringline.com%2Fforums%2Fimages%2Fsmilies%2Fbiggrin.gif&hash=fa2db8a2d15c338f95b7a2cbcb46a673a808a937)
This is great news.
yea, it solves my worries
The doctor does still take medicare. There is a 30 BMI requirement. Unfortunately because of my psych meds I need several months to lose to that level.
That's pretty cool , it was done in a hospital within my providers network
I'm happy for Denee. This is wonderful news.
:)
That is so cool.
When I had my GCS there was this young lady that was just 72
She was doing do great. She was the week before mine and wish I had more then a few hrs with her.
So age is truly a number.
Doing the happy dance for anyone who can get onto the doctors list.
