Title: i don't think i can get cleavage
Post by: Sabrina on January 03, 2015, 09:25:27 PM
I just made the realization that I may not be able to get cleavage some day. As of today, I easily have A cup breasts but due to my protruding sternum, no cleavage can be made even if I try. They seem to be growing at a slight outward angle and the nipples seem to be on the same plain as the sternum tip. It's not that I have a big chest cavity because I was born male. My sternum sticks out farther than normal. Does anyone else have a similar issue? Hope I'm explaining things correctly.

Not every Cis female can get cleavage.

Be patient not sure how long hrt been in place but it takes time for development.

Then the runway ladies have tricks they use.

Hang in there.

Marathon!

I understand what you mean, I was actually born with the opposite condition, called pectus excavatum, where my chest was indented. unfortunately for me now, I got it corrected four years ago. back then I thought getting it fixed would make me appear more masculine, and help get rid of these female desires...  ::)
If I had kept it, it probably would have helped give me some nice cleavage, but oh well. at this point i'll be happy with any amount of boobage.

sorry about your issue, hopefully your breasts can at least become nice and full anyway. do you have the opposite condition, pectus carinatum? or is it just a slight protrusion?

Sabrina, I have A's too and I know my cleavage isn't impressive and may never be, but as others have pointed out not everyone gets that classic cleavage that many of us are hoping for. Considering your not even 2 years into HRT you still have plenty of time for more growth that could help build some cleavage. Everyone's breasts come in different shapes and sizes. Hugs

I think I might have pectus carinatum but no where near as severe as some of the pictures of the condition portray. I have never needed a shield to protect my sternum. At least I know what it's called now.

My... uh... observations of cleavage and what is required for the best... um... "rack" have led me to determine that, in addition to a large cup size, usually a small chest size is going to help considerably. A woman with C cups and a large chest is going to have more trouble getting cleavage than a woman with C cups and a small chest. Basically the smaller the underlying rib structure the closer the breasts are going to sit on the chest - being closer means it's easier to squeeze them together and create cleavage. I imagine with your pectus condition you may unfortunately have some issues in that regard but if you're still in the early stages of growth maybe wait to see what the final package is.

As Izzy says, not all cis women have cleavage and those with A and B cups are probably going to have some difficulty no matter how slim their chest (this is me). But it's not impossible to get cleavage, although you might need a bit of help. If you are keen to have cleavage before your breasts are fully developed there are things you can do... check out this video (not NSFW, but don't watch it at work anyway, OK?)

Sabrina, I hope this doesn't sound callous, but welcome to womanhood, dear.

Nearly every woman I've ever gotten to know is unhappy with her breasts in some way. It's pretty much a universal condition of being female.

My daughter is fond of saying that breasts come in only two sizes, too small and too large.

Embrace it, enjoy it, bathe in it. Womanhood is such a wonderful state of being that the positives far outweigh the negatives.
