Title: A little shy
Post by: Laci Marie on January 05, 2015, 04:09:26 AM
Hello everyone, it's nice to meet everyone. c:

My name is Laci, I'm 19 years old, and I'm a cross dresser (mtf). I've seen myself as a female for over 6 years now, and now that I'm an adult, I feel like I'm finally free. I'm not sure if I'll ever have any surgeries or HRT or anything like that. Money is really tight nowadays, and I don't think my family or I can pay for it. But I do wear breast forms and I'm completely fine with them, and I'm completely happy being me. Speaking of family, I'm very very scared to let them know about this. I live with my Grandma and I love her to death. However, my grandmother see's it awkward for me to be this way, but I think she's accepting. It's my other family that I worry so much about. I don't want to make anyone uncomfortable about it, it's really hard to tell my family. I feel like the only way is to just start helping myself and be me. I'm a very quiet and shy person. I've always liked calm places even as a toddler. When I was 7, I was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome, which is like a mild form of autism. It's kind of hard to explain for me. But I'd figure I'd share that, I don't mind. As far as dating, I have no intentions. I like to be alone, but I love having friends and pepole to talk to, too. I can defend for myself. I'm a very independent person. I also have some back and leg issues. I use a rollator to get around which helps out a ton. I threw them out so to speak when I was working a few years ago. But it's okay, the rollator is just another thing that makes me, me. When I see myself, I see long black hair, with blue eyes, pale skin, a trademark necklace and a nice long dress that goes down to my feet with long gladiator sandals. As far as makeup goes, I've never tried it, and I'm not sure if I will. When I shave, I can get every little nook and cranny even though it takes hours. But it's worth it to me. Anyways, I have some numerous hobbies. I love building with lego, I collect dice (my necklace can hold my dice in the pendant), I loooooove Nintendo and anime and numbers, I'm a bit of a nerd hehe.  I also like to watch nascar and auto racing. To wrap things up I came here for some help, have people to talk about these things with and maybe makes some friends along the way. I'm very sorry for writing a book, I just wanted to introduce myself and stuff. c: I'm shy, but I worked my courage to tell everything. c: My journey isn't complete yet, but I'm getting there one step at a time. Thank you everyone for reading, and i'm sorry for writing a book. ^^

Edit: Ooopies, I forgot to mention that I wanted to share, I don't speak at all, I communicate with a big notepad and a pencil. c: It a thing that's what my Asperger's, it makes it easier for me to communicate that way. I know it doesn't really matter on a forum since it's typing, but I figured I would share. Doh, I knew I was missing something when I typed this. *makes a facepalm* x.x

Hi Laci,

A big Aussie welcome to Susan's family. It's good of you to drop in and say "Hi". Hope you like it here, and you stay for a while.

There is a mountain of information, resources and friendship waiting for you here, you just need to jump in start talking and ask any question you like. You're quite safe here and we are very accepting.

You're right on target when you said the best thing you can do is start helping yourself to be you. This is where it all starts and ends. If others don't understand, that's their problem, NOT yours to solve. You can best help everyone round you to cope, by you absolutely believing in yourself. Nothing more, nothing less.

Looking forward to hearing more of your story in time to come, but in the meantime, be safe, well and happy.

Lotsa huggs
Catherine
