Title: Chubby trans boys: what binders do you prefer????
Post by: wolfxheart on January 05, 2015, 06:55:27 PM
I'm 5'6", 250 lbs., and a 44DDD.  I don't really have a curvy figure im an hourglass/pear/etc way, pretty much sae amount of fat stickin' out everywhere. Are the tri-top binders better or the full length ones?

Full length are better for us honestly. The double works pretty good and I'm 250 42DD. It's not perfect, but I have rolling up issues with the anything shorter. The compression bra along with the binder may help you get flatter

I agree completely, the full length binders are much better comfort and overall flatness, in my opinion at least. Plus, I feel like they help me hold all the extra lovin' together haha

Agreed, full length. The short ones made me look like a pear.

I'm also backing the full length responses. Unfortunately the Underworks 997 is the only strong full length binder with compression everywhere that I know of.

I find the full body binder is good for tucking in stomach and even flattening hips a bit, although I do feel the compression there a good bit

I used to wear a half / tank top binder, which was more comfortable but made my stomach appear bigger and made me a bit more disproportionate.

Best to see what works for you, I am gonna say though DO NOT go for cheap binders, most are non breathable, especially the ones labelled 'lesbian' , 'tomboy' and 'cosplay' . These will damage your ribs, stop you from breathing properly and mess up your chest.
Breathable binders are great, bandages or 'cosplay' binders are bad. Bit more money for good ones and frustrating if you're finding which one works for you, but worth it for your health.

I recommend a full length underworks binder, tuck it in good fitting pants and you're fine

Good luck

The full length ones are ideal if you can tolerate the abdomen compression. Anything else makes me look pear-shaped or like my stomach is melting over my pants.

Full length binders. I tried using my fiance's who has the tri-top and it didn't work out well.
