Not good at introductions to be honest, but it may be more polite make one. My name's Alan and I'm a 22 year old trans guy (ftm) currently living in Germany. Regarding my "gender history", it's hard to consider me one of those "I've been certain about what I am all the time"-people. There was even a time where I started to ask people not to call me by my birth name, but a more "girly" version of it to be more of a girl... which wasn't being really honest to myself and others. On the other hand, there are a lot of things where we talk about the typical perception of boys and girls and when it comes to "how boys are" my Mother often tends to say "oh, that sounds like someone's talking about you". There was even a report about me on something and the person receiving it would've considered the whole thing to be about a boy if there wasn't a name on it. Other small things where sitting at the boys' area in primary school (we had desks in groups that time), rather being invited to a boy's birthday than that of a girl and generally being "one of the boys" (and spending time with them, playing football).
After a few years of still thinking I wouldn't mind walking around as a "girl", I've finally come to the point of being honest to myself. Which means no matter if I'll be allowed to get hormone treatment and such, I'm trying to pass as guy as far as possible.
