Hi everyone, so I haven't really made a topic in a while and I've been quite inactive around here lately but I hope everyone is doing well. ^.^
I just wanted to post some pictures and an audio of me to see what people think. I'm pre-everything and the voice recording isn't the best. It was the morning after I got really drunk for the first time ever (drank a whole bottle of wine in like 10 minutes lol) so my throat was really sore and I kept feeling the need to cough and plus it was like 4 in the morning. I'd make another recording but I cbsed right now. I was reading out a poem I wrote for someone I really liked a few months back. I don't usually share my writings in fear of someone stealing them but whatever.

I kind of find it amazing how much I've changed in the past 2 years tbh. I'm not on hrt at the moment but I will be in about 4 months. Ahh - so stoked! I'm not really sure how well my voice passes as I've gotten mixed reviews on it. Most people have said it's cute and relaxing and sounds natural which I kind of agree with to an extent. I play online games a lot and am always referred to as she but I've stopped using voice chat with the amount of sexism and harassment I've received (omg, it's actually ridiculous and no one takes you seriously...). These people were saying I was using a voice changer the other day and it really hurt and destroyed my self-confidence for a bit. I'm not sure if I should've taken that as a compliment or not though because I don't want it to sound like I'm using one, I want it to sound natural...
I have a hard time using it around people unless I'm drunk or something but I feel like once I start hrt and my self-esteem starts to come back then it'll be much easier for me. These past 2 years have been a really long journey and I think I've come a long way in terms of my own 'transition'. All these repressed feelings and behaviours I've had have just come to me and it's all been so natural - even the voice aspect of it all (granted, my male voice isn't even that masculine). I feel like myself more and more everyday and I have such a wonderful support network and I'm ever so grateful for that.
I'm not sure how well I pass physically but I present as female 24/7. I really don't care what other people think, I think everyone should be allowed to be themselves. :) One thing that really messes with my mind and trying to pass with my female voice in person is my stupid Adam's apple and facial hair; albeit not very noticeable. I still need to get laser and everything done. All I've really done in terms of appearance is grow my hair, change my wardrobe, and wear eye-liner lol. I don't do my eye-brows as they don't bother me too much and I think things that are imperfect/odd/different are awesome! I love when my nail polish gets all chipped and stuff haha.
Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks again to everyone, it really means a lot. ^.^
