Title: Model A, is it just too stiff to wear??
Post by: KamTheMan on January 12, 2015, 12:42:44 PM
I'm having trouble figuring out how to wear my model A to work. I used it once at home perfectly, but it feels so awkward to pack. I'm tripping because I paid $80 for it and $12 for a bro sleeve and neither are what I expected. Do any of you pack a Model A/D/Sport daily. Did it just take time to get used to??

I have the sport model and I haven't quite figured out how to wear it without it looking abnormally large under my normal work clothes (dress pants). So I'm in the same boat as you, only using it at home at the moment :(

Did you try the jockstrap with a hole in it that I mentioned before?

I've got the model D.  It is pretty *cough* stiff, and was a bit of a challenge to get used to packing with.  It's got to be positioned just right to be comfortable, and most harnesses or underwear don't seem to keep it in the right place.  I eventually made a basic adjustable harness out of elastic.  I don't generally pack with it in public--  I don't pass and, unless I'm in my slouchy jeans, it would be noticable to anyone minded to look.  Though, I suppose, anyone minded to look deserves whatever they get.

Just like I said in the thread before you bought it... "I have a Model D that I picked up on clearance. As far as an STP it works GR8, never a miss. BUT, in my opinion, it is the most uncomfortable thing to try to pack I have!  And for a while, I even packed a Shewee!"

Sadly, It now sits in a drawer.  It's not even comfortable to wear at night in PJ's.  But the STP is never a miss.  I suppose if I had nothing else I would make myself be uncomfortable all the time and use it?  I'm just glad I bought mine on clearance!

I know a couple people who have figured it out, and like it okay. But I have heard it is a challenge to get used to and some people just won't get used to it. To bad as it's a super good idea and inexpensive as these things go.

I'm gonna try to get used to it. Do you guys find it easier to pack with it in place to piss or sort of smashed against you to the side?

I have the model A, I usually leave it in place for the most part. Sometimes I'll put the shaft down and to the side some. Have you found a good way to pack it yet?
