Title: Taking both times of HRT at Bed Instead of twice daily?
Post by: GingerMaxim on January 12, 2015, 01:10:53 PM
Reason why I ask this is because I am wondering if my HRT is contributing to my extreme tiredness?

I have become so very very  tired lately.

I want to try taking both my pills at bed instead of twice daily to see if my exhaustion goes away?

WILL it hurt me in any way, if I take both pills at bed instead of twice daily?

Thank you.

Talk to your doctor before making any choices, but I found that it simply took me time to get used to hormones and for a while I was just tired regardless of  how my doses were split up. I don't really feel particularly tired now on the twice daily schedule.

I second that! Talk to your doctor!

Edit: I've always taken my hormones twice a day to ensure maximum absorption and minimal stress on my liver. But it's a good practice to talk to your doctor about making any changes. They know far more than people on an internet forum.

Yes I will, and I think I will just take 1 dose at bed and just switch my times around twice daily.

Thank you.

Myself I just started last Thursday at 6PM and do the early early morning and afternoon. It works for me so far.

The tiredness is fairly common in the initial stages. Testosterone is such a get up and go hormone that when it drops away due to HRT you can feel lethargic at first.

Talk to your doc before you do anything though. You could make the problem worse.
