Today, my soon to be ex has filed the divorce papers with my happy dancing mother in law.
I've been sitting in the dark pondering my future. So far I have some leads on income based apartments. getting ready to start applying for jobs which is depressing. I can't even come up with three personal references, because of not having a drivers license and my wife not taking me anywhere but the store for years.
I am also dreading the fact that in my area I'll probably have to apply and work in male mode which sucks. I've been full time for over a year and that's a step backward for me. <sigh>
I would go yo Huntington and have better luck there, but my sons are in a different school district which my wife would use against me during the school year.
What to do???????
Make sure you have someone looking out for your rights. There are lawyers who can help with minimal or no upfront cost. You may have to hunt them down, but you can find them. Good luck and hugs. Remember, you are not alone.
Just found out our court date is FEB 18 <sigh>
