I just went through an experience with meeting someone on a dating site and on reviewing my reaction I think I might of just experience a hormonal freak out. Has anyone experienced a difference in how they deal with situations since starting HRT.
FYI: I'm IS.
Just one of the few things I noticed when I started HRT. No changes.
Which is interesting, because I can handle Stressful situations pretty well. However, when I DO get stressed (which is hard), OMG, lookout.
good to know there are others

I'm IS and have had a severe hormonal imbalance since childhood. I'm on a more even keel these days since starting HRT but there are times when little things set me off and it's not pretty.
After a successful 50+ years of suppressing my emotions, now post HRT I have a sometimes have a difficult time handling them.
I look at it this way, Between a life devoid of most emotions and the difficult time I now have in a life filled with them, I'll gladly take a life filled with. I rather like feeling alive vs being numb
By "hormonal freakout" do you mean "as giddy as a school girl"??
Pretty sure that's a normal reaction to liking someone who you hope will like you back! ;D
